Transportation Information

From Hong Kong International Airport to the hotel (39.6 km)

x Option 1: Taxi (Red1 or Green Taxi, ~36 minute drive, cost HK$230~290)

Taxi Station can be reached by the left-hand ramp outside the Arrivals Hall. Please follow the red circled sign “To City” to the taxi station (you can easily find many such signs in airport).

Most of the time, there will be airport staff helping you get a taxi. You can show the following address information (in Chinese) to the staff and taxi driver.

x Option 2: Hotel Limousine (~40 minute drive, cost HK$650 one way / HK$1200 roundtrip) Reservation: Advanced reservation with the hotel is needed. Please indicate flight details for airport pick up arrangement.

x Option 3: Airbus A41P (~60 minute drive, cost HK$27.7)

Get off at Ravana Garden stop and then walk from Ravana Garden to hotel (~4 minutes, check Google Maps link)

Bus frequency: ~every 35 minutes. Operating hours: 07:00 – 24:00. Payment: Exact payment (no changes) or pay by Octopus Card (how to get one). Please follow these instructions to find the bus stop:

o Step 1: follow the “To City” sign to find the Bus Terminus

o Step 2: In front of the terminus, you will see a Bus Information board. You can easily find the location of the A41P bus here.

Note: You have to press the bell to inform the driver that you will get off at the next stop (Ravana Garden Stop). On the bus, there will be announcement of the stop information in English, Mandarin (Putonghua) and Cantonese.

x Option 4: Airport Express + MTR o Step 1: Take Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station (~14 minutes, cost HK$60,

frequency: every 12 minutes, operating hours: 6:00 – 24:00). Follow the “To City” sign to find the Airport Express platform.

o Step 2: Take MTR from Tsing Yi Station to Shek Mun Station (~45 minutes, cost HK$10.3 for standard class and HK$15.8 for first class, very frequent, operating hours: 6:00 – 24:00). Interchange stations are: Lai King Station, Prince Edward Station, Kowloon Tong Station, and Tai Wai Station. Please check Figure 1 for MTR system map.

o Step 3: The hotel is within walking distance from MTR Shek Mun Station Exit C (~10 minutes). Check Google Maps link for details.

x Option 2: Hotel Shuttle Bus (~20 minute drive) The hotel runs free shuttle bus to Science Park on Monday to Friday at 8:30 am. Please check the last page for shuttle schedule.

x Option 3: Hotel Shuttle + Public Minibus No. 27 o Step1: The hotel runs free shuttle bus to MTR Sha Tin Station frequently (check

last page for schedule).

o Step 2: From MTR Sha Tin Station, you can take public minibus No. 27 to Science Park (25~30 minutes, cost HK$6.6). Bus frequency: every 4 – 15 minutes (more frequent in rush hour). Bus station2 is Sha Tin Station (Pai Tau Street) Terminus (see Figure 2), which is outside Exit B of MTR Sha Tin Station.

x Option 4: MTR + Public Bus 272K o Step 1: The hotel is within walking distance from MTR Shek Mun Station (~10

minutes). Check Google Maps link for details.

o Step 2: Take MTR from Shek Mun Station to University Station (~23 minutes, cost HK$5.0 for standard class and HK$9.0 for first class). Interchange station: Tai Wai (see Figure 1).

o Step 3: Take public bus KMB 272K to Science Park. The bus station2 is outside the Exit B of MTR University Station (see Figure 3).

When you arrive at Science Park, the Auditorium is within walking distance. Check Figure 4 for details.
