Corporate Finance & Research Investment Intern, Multi-Family Office and Financial

activities cover private wealth & asset management, as well as financial advisory services to a sophisticated and
international clientele, looking to develop and invest in Asia. CIGP’s investment scope spans across the public and
private markets.
We are looking for a Multilingual Corporate Finance & Research Investment Intern in our Hong Kong office, to
perform both financial research and analysis for the Autumn- Winter period.
Responsibilities
The candidate shall have a curious, open and flexible mind, willing to get commercial responsibilities and working
independence early-on. He/she shall support the team in the origination and analysis of investment ideas.
Main assignments shall include:
− Participate and contribute in the various stages of M&A, Buy-side and/or Sell-side transactions;
− Actively assist the Corporate Finance team and quickly integrate into the team;
− Produce extensive quality documentation for various stages of transactions (presentations, valuations,
market reports, etc.);
− Macro-economic research and synthesis, helping the Team define the global asset allocation;
− Detailed sectorial / country analysis and search for potential public and private investment targets: identify
investment opportunities based on qualitative and quantitative criteria, work on due-diligence of identified
targets including financial and strategic analysis, valuation analysis, meeting with management, speaking
with industry specialists, etc.;
− Production of investment memoranda substantiating key findings in view of a decision process by CIGP’s
investment committee; and
− Monitoring of subsequent price and operating performance of the underlying invested assets and client
portfolios.
Requirements
− Prior academic experience/education in accounting and/or finance;
− Language capabilities is of the essence as reporting in English. Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus;
− Prior working experiences preferable (Finance, Banking, Advisory);
− Personal skills: entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, autonomy, proactivity;
− IT skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) is a must, experience with
Factset / Bloomberg will be favoured VBA skills and further banking IT platform systems.
