DIMENSIONS

They are mainly used for start-up, overload protection andswitch-offofelectricmotorsandalsoforotherloads.Acontac-torandacorrespondingbimetalrelayarebuiltintheenclosureof degree of protection IP55. They are switched onwith theONpushbuttonandswitchedoffwiththeOFFpushbutton.Themushroompushbuttonfunctionsasanemergencystoppush-button.

Corresponding back-up fuses should be built in a circuit infrontofanautomaticcontactorfortheprotectionagainstshort-circuit.TheKPLstartersarenotprovidedwithoverloadprotec-tion,whileKMPLstartersare.
