Interdisciplinarity

Dialogue across disciplines is essential to the environment that CHASE aims to foster, as is working with emergent fields or objects of study that require new forms of attention, practice and communication. This is reflected by the interdisciplinary scope of our selection panels and our development of new forms of delivery.

Student-led cultures of research & practice

CHASE training programmes will support a new generation of humanities students, creative practitioners and arts professionals in creating their own cultures of research and practice.

Social engagement, social challenge

CHASE is committed to engaging wider audiences with research, and cultivating research that addresses the key issues facing society today.

We aim to establish CHASE as an asset within the creative, cultural and public sectors. In collaboration with our wide range of distinctive partners, we are committed to the development of new models of doctoral research and practice.
