LAGUIOLE, France located on the high plateau of Aubrac in the Aveyron is the village that gave its name to the most famous French knives: Laguiole knife born in 1829 is today a mythical knife known around the world, a symbol of prestige and quality.
Laguiole is a village whose name is inseparable from his knife and cheese. The companies that make manufacturing and shaping knives in workshops employ today about 250 people on the Aveyron area, the overall turnover is 14 millions euros. The Laguiole contract is divided as follows: 50% at national level and
50% international.
