What is a concussion?A concussion is a complex pathophysiological

process that affects the brain, caused by either a direct blow to the head or an indirect blow to the body. During the concussion the brain moves rapidly inside the skull and hits parts of the skull. In other types of concussions the head rotates so rapidly that it causes the brain to shred and strain the brain tissues.
