The computer is the most important part of most workplaces in modern life. Working at a computer requires constant focus on a screen. These eye functions are based on the effort of eye muscles. Work-ing on computer is more challenging to the eyes than reading a book or reading paper. Due to the ex-cessive use of computers at the workplace, eye strain has become a major problem and cause of eye discomfort such as physical fatigue, decreasing of productivity, increasing errors, red eyes, and eye twitching. Not only working adults are vulnerable to computer vision syndrome. Kids who stare at vid-eo games or tablets for excessive amounts of time can also experience eye problems. Eye strain symptoms can include sore, tired, burning, watering eyes, difficulty concentrating, or headache and sore neck, shoul-der, and back. According to NIOSH, computer users should have an eye exam every year. Some Easy Steps to Reduce Eye Strain:

Get a regular comprehensive eye exam. Have a proper light - excessive light can cause eye strain. Minimize glare or have an anti-glare screen/monitor if it is possible.
