1.System IntroductionThis system is Telephone Networking Alarm Console with 12 zones (8 wireless zones and 4 wiredzones). It can work with remote controllers (up to 8 remote controllers), various wireless (wired)sensors and wireless (wired) siren. It can be stored 5 groups of pre-set telephone numbers(fixed/mobile telephone number and pager number). Once an alarm happens, the alarm console willactivate on-site siren immediately; and dial pre-set telephone number at the same time. It is widelyused in residence, marketplace, finance system and enterprise.

2. Main Functions:2.1 It is easy to operate with 4*4 keyboard and lattice LCD display.2.2 Voice pre-recorded. It guides to operate by sound and correctly reports alarm information

when alarm occurs.2.3 There are 4 wired zones and 8 wireless zones altogether, and they share with the zone number.2.4 8 sub zones can be programmed independently. And the zone list can be set freely in each sub

zone, 8 remote controllers and 8 user's codes can separately program 8 sub zones toARM/DISARM independently.

2.5 Code classification, 1 installer code, 1 master code, and 8 common users¡ codes. Add 1 at theend of master code/ common user's code, and then it will become duress code.

2.6 Support to ADEMCO CONTACT ID communication protocol2.7 5 groups of telephone numbers (mobile and pager number) can be set. Dialing type (tone or

pulse) and appointed communication zone can be programmed. Arm/Disarm, whether to reportthe information of system state can be set freely.

2.8 DTMF (double-tone multi frequency) and pulse dialing mode are available.2.9 It rushes to report alarm information when alarming (the line should be correctly onnected).2.10 Telephone line cut off or short-circuit will send an alarm. (Indicate sound or siren are

optional, this function also can be opened/closed).2.11 Dial the telephone number, which connected with main unit to arm/disarm and start alarm on

the spot function remotely through telephone or mobile phone.2.12 Automatically learn code between wireless PIR detector, remote controller and main unit

lower of main unit or detector will activate alarming.2.17 Linkage with wired/wireless Siren2.18 Latest 20 pieces of alarm record (Alarm information, Month/Day/hour/minute) can be recorded, and

the user and time of the last arm time and the last disarm time can be recorded. If the records are over20 pieces, then it will delete the preceding ones automatically. User cannot change/delete the records

2.19 Main unit and wireless PIR detector make communication in 26 hours to check if there arecommunication malfunctions. If there are malfunctions, the main unit will alert corresponding zonewithin 26 hours. (This function can be opened/closed)

2.20 Wireless detector reports to main unit for on/off. The report will be kept in record.2.21 Both AC220V and 12V/1.3Ah rechargeable battery supply power, usually, it charges the backup

battery automatically, and they switch automatically. The backup battery can work for 24 hours ormore in standby time. And it reports when power lower. To avoid battery damaged, It adopts limitedcurrent discharge protection circuit.

System Installation

(1) Firstly, make a scheme of all defense zones according to user¡s needs, and choose suitable kindsof detectors.

(2) Fix the setup places of all fittings, like alarm host ,detectors and sirens.(3) Draw a setup map marking the types and specification of detectors and cable conductors in all

zones, and marking the different usages of all kinds of color lines. Don¡t use the same color cablesin different zones of the same system.(The scheme and the map should be filed for maintenance afterwards)

Considering the factors as following when making defense scheme and drawing the map.*After making sure the credibility of detector, it should be fixed in hide places, and the alarm hostshould be fixed in a place where is easy to reach but not easy to be found, and there should havesockets nearby, it also should be near to telephone line and within defense zone of detector. Sirenor trumpet should be set in the best place. Emergency button should be set in the most convenienceplace.

*There should be no big mental or other electrical applicants which can produce interferes (liketelevision, air-condition,computer and micro-oven and so on) near to the install place of alarmhost and other wireless communication equipments.

*When installing wired detector, the cable should be fixed in hide place, like line groove in ceiling.Don¡t use the same color cables in the different zones of the same system.

*Considering all factors, which could cause interferes when adopting wireless detectors and wirelesssiren. Usually, in open area, the distance between the above detector, siren and alarm host can reachto 400m. The alarm host should be set indoors. Otherwise, in the course of transmitting, wirelesssignal may be absorbed or weaken by all equipment material indoors. Moreover, other signals ofwireless equipment may make interferes to this transmit signal. Therefore, the transmitting distanceIs less than 400m when used indoors.

Note:

1. Take main unit and all accessories out of packing box, power them on or well install battery, then program main unit as the need indeed, and learn the code of PIR detector, door sensorand remote controller to main unit (the code of all accessories in the standard package hasbeen learned), please refer to the corresponding chapter for specific operations.

2. How To Install Main Unit(1) How to open the up cover* Put a ¡-¡ screwdriver on the place as picture (a), and unclench upward lightly, then the up

cover will separate with the base cover.* Lightly up lift the up cover to about 15 degrees by hand as picture (b). (Note: Don¡t up lift too

high because it is easy to damage the hook).* Lightly swing the up cover right and left as picture (c). (Note: Don¡t swing with strong

strength), then the up cover will be opened.* disconnect the line which connect the up cover with the base cover.

The above picture is the inner structure of main unit(2) How to mount main unit on the wall* Demount up cover, and there are two install holes on the both end of cover (up and

down side). Hammer two nails on the wall where main unit you want to install, and thenmount the up side of main unit on the up side nail. (Note: the nail which mounting the mainunit should be fastened and can bear three times of weight of main unit at least.)

* Put all lines (like wired detector, telephone line, wired siren) through the hole in the middlecover, and then correctly connect all wired lines with the wired interfaces. (Refer to thecorresponding chapter for specific operation).

* Put all lines in order, then mounts the down sides of lain unit on the down side nail, andFirmly fix it, then return up cover and firmly fix it. (Note: the cover should not bedisfigured).

(3) How to connect with wired accessories1).This system provide with wired interfaces, so it is very convenience to connect with wired

accessories.A. Zone Loop (Z9 to Z12 terminal): Zx terminal is anode, and C terminal is cathode (earth

terminal). When connecting with hand-pressing switch or foot-triggering switch, it is notneed to distinguish the polarity.

B. Auxiliary Power Terminal (AUX&C terminal): It provides wired accessories whichrequire power with +12V DC.

C. Linkage Output Terminal (NC/NO terminal): They are used to control on-off of otherequipments. NC is normal close, NO is normal open, and COM is common terminal. Itcan load with 1A120V AC/24V DC. If the power of controlled equipment is exceedingthan that, it is recommended to use a relay with larger power to avoid damagingthe controlled main board.

2).You should install following instruction when installing other wired equipments.mark the different usage of all kinds of color lines, then install as the drawing, andlead the lines to main unit, and then correctly connect with main unit. And theconnection are as following:

A. Different color line have different usage, so when connecting, the line should bestrictly according to the different uses of different color lines.

B. When connecting, the line end should be bared, and the length of bared should beequal to the connect port where will be inserted. Then the bared line should betwisted firmly, then insert them into the hole, after that, screw the screw cap firmly tobear pulling strength.

C. There are three kinds of circuit can be programmed, that are ¡normal close¡, ¡normalopen¡ ¡ line end resistance¡. If it is programmed to be ¡ line end resistance¡, youshould connect a 2.2 K resistance with the end terminal of PIR detector (other zonecircuits unused for the moment also should be connected). In order to avoid zonecircuit lines damaged (be cut off or short circuit), you had better programcorresponding zone circuit to be ¡line end resistance¡.

is bypass connect with out lines, it should be weld after connection. Moreover, thepart of resistance down-lead should be as short as possible to avoid short circuit bytouching with other metals after twisted. If the zone loop are programmed to be NOor NO, then the detector can be connect directly with the zone loop. When detectorneed main unit to provide power, the anode and cathode of the detector¡s power inputinterface should be separately connected with SW and C interfaces or AUX and Cinterfaces.

Ω

Connection Principles:Normal open detector should be connected parallel with normalclose detector should be concatenated with If more than two linesshould be connected with the same end, then the bared line should be twisted firmly, then insert them into the hole and screw the screw cap firmly. If resistance down-lead

4.Installation Requirement and Diagram4.1. Installation Requirements

4.1.1 The infrared detector has the highest sensitivity when a human body moves parallelwith the mirror surface and the sensitivity is the lowest when a human body movesvertically against the mirror. As the angle and height against the horizontal surfaceshould be noted during installation, which will greatly effect the range of thedefense area. The high shall be 2 meter or so and the angle against the wall.

4.1.2 Stand off the straight light and other straight light source (e.g. car light)4.1.3 Stand off the warm or cold sources, e.g., warm air or cold air outlet, air conditioning

outlet, electric radiators, air cooling machines and etc. stand off from the windows.4.1.4 There is no barrier within the defended area of a detector.4.1.5 If infrared detector works in temperature that is near human temperature, the

detective effect is inefficient. So in this instance, Infrared detector is suggested tobe installed in lower temperature in that area.

4.1.6 In interference instance, infrared detector is suggested to set in low sensitivityposition.

4.1.7 Infrared detector is asked to be stable on the wall without sway.4.2. Diagram
