HEALTH MEETING INNOVATION LAB

MIA boosts an in-house business unit dedi-cated to the organization of medical and scientific conferences as well as health services communication events on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, universities and public organizations.

The transversal and integrated knowl-edge in Health Services scenarios and procedures already gained by MIA’s net-work members, together with their pas-sion, allows for the ongoing development of innovative and involving formats for managing scientific sessions, hybrid and virtual events, fund raising and sponsor-ship events, open platforms for contents interactive sharing, training, coaching and experiential training in the medical field. MIA operates and is qualified for continu-ous training, being a certified ECM provider (FAD, RES, FSC).

Besides offering event organization and training services, MIA supports clients in the development of suitable communica-tion strategies including:

THE IMPORTANCEOF PREVENTION 62nd SICPRE ANNUAL MEETINGBari, September 2013

An opportunity to discuss clinical and so-cial security topics as well as to talk about spaces and technologies dedicated to the aged, opening a window on successful age-ing.

The event involved many professionals from various sectors, including singer Gino Paoli and judge Giancarlo Caselli who shared their experience, triggering del-egates’ curiosity and interventions. A new format allowed those wishing to address experts privately to have their questions answered in the so-called “confessional”.

The Opening Ceremony of the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SICPRE) was held at Teatro Petruzzelli and focused on the theme of breast cancer, narrating it in all its nuances in a new and empathizing manner, using the theatre stage and all its artistic expressions. The objective was to emotionally commu-nicate a positive message and inspire new reflections on the importance of prevention and awareness of the tools currently avail-able against a disease that affects patients, each as a unique clinical case with an indi-vidual history, and all their relationships.

The objective was to present all the crystal colours in the new collection to the best Italian clients on the occasion of a special fashion show.

Like bodies on other bodies, objects came to live being worn by professional dancers and became the stars of their very elegant choreographies. Under a wise video direc-tion, the show was recorded in all its pre-cious nuances, reflections and details, with screens projecting them from strategic points of the room.

An event to present international dealers with two new perfumes produced by the company on behalf of two prestigious Ital-ian fashion brands.

A themed evening was dedicated to each product, in line with the style, colours and message of its brand. The locations chosen had a strong charac-ter, yet were at the same time suitable to the design requirements for the evening: Open Colonna, the roof restaurant of the Exhibition Building, and Spazio Novecento, at the very heart of the EUR district.

An event on a scientific topic of great inter-est in the dental field, developed with the model of an exhibition. About 70 firms and over 1000 participants, including odontologists, prosthodontists, hygienists and dental assistants, meet in Bari to discuss the most recent topics and widen their knowledge under the princi-ples of evidence based dentistry.Great attention is always given to cosmet-ics, in relation to surgery and hygiene, with the overall objective of promoting dental wellness.

Business growth and development, in-vesting in corporate relations as a tool to involve and integrate all employees.

The convention was an opportunity for a confrontation on the strategic impor-tance of investments in human resources. Strengthening the liaison between em-ployer and employees has been the objec-tive of a cultural evolution path promoted by Federmeccanica, in a joint effort with Territorial Associations, for National and Local Governments to impact effectively on businesses.

Improving the approach to pain and guar-anteeing an early and efficient treatment through medical and extra-medical experi-ences and reflections.

A consistent portion of the population still does not receive suitable antalgic treat-ments, regardless of their social security setting, type of pain or characteristics as patients. The theme was also addressed through a multi-sensorial dinner signed by Chef Almo Bibolotti addressing the topic of good and healthy eating as a way to soothe pain.
