COMPANY PROFILE

Dakota Italy S.p.A. started in the early eighties as specialized company in the production of plastic materials. Right from the beginng the production was focused on materials for building in favour of other companies.

In 1990 Dakota Italia, started the direct distribution of its own range of products throw specialized retailers all over the Country.

In 1991 Dakota increase the production capacity by building a larger warehouse and a new headquarter.

1992 is the beginnig of a important and exclusive industrial partneship with Saint-Gobain. Thanks to this agreement, Dakota is able to offer to his customers an important and complete range of Fiber-Glass meshes and his own production of plastic anchors for thermical insulation.

In 1998 a new production facility is opened. It was projected and built following the most advanced techniques, with the setting up, also, of an articulate control quality division.

In 1999 Dakota acquired a Company in Romania specialized in wood.

OUR STORY

In 2002 Dakota started by develop a new commercial divisions in foreign markets:• DAKOTA ESPAÑA in Valencia and in Portugal in Leira;

In 2005 Dakota moved to his new headquarter.

In 2006 Dakota opened another foreign branch.• DAKOTA EST in Tirgu-Neamt (Romania).

In 2007 was implemented and improved an important internal departent: R&D.

!Now Dakota is able to create, elaborate and produce customized products, starting from the study of the 3D models, passing through the 3D printing of the first samples to the final production on his facility.

Dakota was certified in 2008 by SGS Italy (quality system) and follows the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 regulation framework.

Thanks to his procedures and internal Quality Framework, Dakota is able to achieve the renewing of the QUALITY MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE according to UNI-EN ISO 9001/2000, in order to guarantee the best satisfaction for his Customer.

The policy of high quality standards has been and will be always a distinctive characteristic of Dakota Italia and a continuous commitment to our customer. High standards of our production in Dakota S.p.A. represent a key factor of our success.

PRODUCTION

Production is a piece of our Heart Dakota when started to move its first steps in the early 80’s, was just a manufacturer. Dakota never forgot this first, important part of its business. Year by year, ever greater attention has been paid to every aspect of production, with important investments aimed to increase quality of the products and efficiencies.

Few numbers:

- Production sites: At the moment Dakota owns a production site both in Italy and extended his production in other foreign CE Countries.

- Employees: 230 workers;

Dakota’s Production Site in Italy is equipped with over than 30 injection moulding machines for injection of plastic materials.

The International Production site has an annual production of 1.000.000 door wood frames and 25.000 skylights in various range and measures.

Dakota always showed a great attention for general development.

As a demonstration that there are no geographical boundaries to the experience and business development, the success on the Spanish and Portuguese markets led to the creation of a Dakota branch in 2002 with its own logistic headquarters in Valencia (Spain) and another one in Leira (Portugal).

And has commercial structures and business collaboration in the following countries:
