The Main Screen of “Comic Strip Creator”, where the user has the ability of selecting between the creation of “Single Strip” and “Double Strip” Comic (Figure 1).

Tags

In the Screen of Creation of “Single Strip” the user can select between the addition of frames, backgrounds, cliparts and balloons.

Frames The options that the user has in the tag of frames are the addition of a new frame, the modification of frame and the deletion of it.

Add Frame

Pressing the “add frame” button , a new frame is added in the stage and

simultaneously the button “modify frame” is activated (Figure 5).

Modify Frame

Pressing the “modify frame” button , can change the size of the frame (Figure 6).

Furthermore, the user can flip the frame either horizontally (Figure 7),

Finally, the user can rotate the frame, as he wishes (Figure 9).

Backgrounds The options that the user has in the tag of backgrounds are the addition of a new background.

Add Background

The user imports the figure he wishes, by pressing the “add background” button (Figure 12). For further editing of the figure, the user will be led to the tag of frames.

By clicking the frame he wishes, the user inserts the figure in the stage (Figure 13).

With regard to what figure (frame) will be closed up (Figure 14) above the stage, this depends from what figure the user has finally selected.

Cliparts The options that the user has in the tag of cliparts are the addition of a new clipart, the modification and the deletion of it.

Pressing the “add clipart” button (Figure 16), a new clipart is added in the

stage (Figure 17) and simultaneously the button “modify clipart” is activated.

Balloons The options that the user has in the tag of balloons are the addition of a new dialogue balloon, thought balloon and whisper balloon. Moreover, the user can modify the balloons and also delete them.

Pressing the “add dialogue balloon” button , a new dialogue balloon is added

in the stage and simultaneously the button “modify balloon” is activated (Figure 24).

the stage and simultaneously the button “modify balloon” is activated (Figure 25).

Finally, the text which adds the user in each balloon is wrapped automatically, after the import (Figure 33).

Pressing the “delete balloon” button , the user can proceed to the deletion of a balloon (Figure 34).

Export

For the export of the final result, the user initially presses the button

“Copyrights” , where a frame is shown up, in which it is asked by user to insert the title or the author of copyrights (Figure 35).

After the insertion of the name, the user presses the button “OK” (Figure 36).

Then, the user presses the button “Export” , in order to save his final strip (Figure 37).

After the save of comic strip, the tool asks the user if he wishes to view the Strip that was created (Figure 38).

Tips

Move Window The user can move the window of the tool, by having pressed the right click of mouse, in any spot of the window.

Minimize Window

By clicking the “minimize” button that’s in the upright spot of the window, the user can minimize the window of the tool.

Close Tool

By clicking the “exit” button that’s in the upright spot of the window, the user can choose if he wishes to exit from the tool, as shown in Figure 39.
