Welcome to Artusi cooking appliances. Inspired by the legendary Pellegrino Artusi,
the father of Italian cuisine, we have created our range to live up to his legacy.
Times may have changed since he wrote ‘The Science of Cooking and the Art of Eating well’
but the essence of a lovingly prepared meal bringing people together will always remain.
Our products are designed with the modern day home cook in mind. Sleek lines and high
in functionality and performance. And all are made to the highest global standards and
go through rigorous testing procedures.
So whether you are a casual cook or a true artist in the kitchen, we want our cookers
to play a part in your enjoyment of the principles laid down by Artusi himself.
OUR
PHILOSOPHY

Pellegrino Marcello Artusi was born in the Tuscan hillside village of Forlimpopoli in 1820. With 12 siblings, food
was an important topic in the Artusi household.
When the family moved to Florence he began working in fi nance whilst dedicating any spare time to his two favourite hobbies: Literature and Cooking.
It is at this time that his most famous work ‘La scienza in cucina e l’arte di mangiare bene’ (The Science of Cooking
and the Art of Eating Well) started to take shape.
Artusi worshiped the scientifi c method of cooking. Every recipe was the result of extensive experiments, something
his family encouraged as they knew they could always expect something interesting and different for dinner.
Artusi was the fi rst to include recipes from all the different regions of Italy in a single cookbook. He is often credited
with establishing a truly national Italian cuisine.
Much of what we know today about Italian food can be traced back to him and his truly revolutionary publication.
He may not have known it at the time, but Artusi encapsulated something that we all take for granted today
and something that still brings the family together:
The Science of Cooking and the Art of Eating Well. It is with this philosophy in mind that we created the Artusi
range of cooking appliances for today’s home cook.

ECO BAKEVery useful when you need to cook only a small amount of food on one shelf
FAN FORCEDA versatile function, perfect for cooking large quantities of food, ie — on all shelves. Heat is distributed evenly throughout the oven by a fan on the rear wall of the oven
FAN ASSISTEDA great general cooking function for bread and cakes where absolute even temperatures are required, particularly in the centre of the oven
BOTTOM ELEMENTPerfect for blind baking or fi nishing pastry, or any dish needing a higher base temperature. Great for pavlovas
PIZZA MODEGives a crisp pastry and perfectly cooked topping for your pizza
STATIC GRILLRadiant heat is directed to the top of your food — use this function for grilled cheese on toast, focaccia etc
HALF STATIC GRILLThe same cooking performance as Static Grill, but for a smaller quantity of food
FAN GRILLThis function uses the fan and top grill element to give succulent grilled fi sh, chicken, sausages etc
DEFROSTThis function allows you to fan defrost frozen food at ambient temperature without drying it out
PYROLYTIC CLEANINGThis function carbonises any dried-on residue, allowing for easy wipe-over cleaning
