    He Comes, He Goes

    Doom Rider must begin the game in reserve. When entering play, he must enter play using the Deep Strike special

    rule and follows all the normal rules for doing so. At the end of each of the controlling players turns, if Doom Rider

    is on the table, the player rolls a D6. On the roll of a 1, re-enters the Warp. He is removed from the table and placed

    into ongoing reserves. Note that his means that Doom Rider may be taken out of play on a turn in which he deep

    strikes in from reserves or ongoing reserves and may be removed from close combat. If removed from close combat,

    the enemy unit is allowed to consolidate normally.

    When entering play form ongoing reserves, Doom Rider must enter play by deep striking, but only rolls 1D6 for

    scatter distance when doing so. Additionally, he may move, shoot, run and assault on a turn that he does so.

    If Doom Rider is in ongoing reserves when the game ends, he does not count as a casualty for the purpose of

    mission objectives.

    Wheels of Fire

    Doom Rider moves normally for a bike, but counts as having the Skyborne special rule as if he possessed a jump

    pack.

    If Fabius Bile is the warlord of the army, any number of additional Chaos Space Marine squads may be given the

    Enhanced Warriors special rule at +3 points per model.

    After sides have been decided but before forces are deployed, roll once for each additional squad with the Enhanced

    Warriors special rule on the table and apply the result to the entire unit.

    Emperors Children Army Rules and Restrictions:

    Unit SelectionAll models in an Emperors Children army must have the Mark of Slaanesh.

    Walkers in an Emperor s Children army must be Dedicated to Slaanesh. All other vehicles in an EmperorsChildren army do not have to be Dedicated to a god, but if they are, they may only be Dedicated to

    Pleasure SeekersAll non-vehicle models in an Emperors Children army with the Mark of Slaanesh gain the Blind Hedonism

    special rule if they do not already have it. Walker Vehicles Dedicated to Slaanesh gain theBlind Hedonismspecial rule, though they still count as having a Leadership of 10 when made to take a Leadership test.

    immediately suffers a Strength 4 AP2 hit with the Ignores Cover special rule.

    Lash of Torment

    The Lash of Torment reduces the Attacks of any model in base contact with Lucius by 1 (to a minimum of 1). In

    addition, all of Lucius' close combat attacks have the Shred special rule.

    -Playing An Iron Warriors Army-____________________________________________________________________________

    Iron Warriors Army Rules and Restrictions:

    Unit SelectionThe only Mark which may be included in an Iron Warriors army is the Mark of Chaos Undivided.

    Vehicles may not be Dedicated to any god in particular.The only exception to this rule is that Khorne Berserkers may still be taken as Elites choices with all of

    their normal options. If the Berserkers take a dedicated transport, it may be Dedicated to Khorne.

    Iron Warriors Chaos Lords, known as Warsmiths, and Daemon Princes may be given a Servo-arm at +20

    pts per model.

    All units in an Iron Warriors army which may do so MUST purchase frag and krak grenades.

    Any Iron Warriors Characters that cannot already do so may purchase Bionics at +5 pts per model.

    An Iron Warriors army is limited to 0-1 Fast Attack choices.

    An Iron Warriors army MUST include at least 1 Heavy Support Choice.

    An Iron Warriors army does not suffer the 0-1 restriction on Technovirus Cults.

    Artillery Batteries may be taken as a Heavy Support choice in an Iron Warriors army. Their profiles and

    options remain unchanged (see Codex: Imperial Guard for unit details.)

    An Iron Warriors army may take up to 3 Fortifications, rather than the normal limit of 1. The same

    Fortification may be selected multiple times. Siege Masters

    The following rules do not apply to Khorne Berserkers, Possessed, Cultists or Technovirus Cults.

    While fully within a Ruin or Fortification, non-vehicle Iron Warriors units have the Fearless special rule

    when not engaged in close combat. While locked in close combat, Iron Warriors units have the Stubborn

    special rule. These special rules are lost while not within a Ruin or Fortification.

    Non-vehicle Iron Warriors units only set off minefields on a roll of a 6.

    Non-vehicle Iron Warriors units and Iron Warriors Dreadnoughts may re-roll their armor penetration roll

    when attacking fortifications.

    Night Lords Army Rules and Restrictions:

    Unit SelectionThe only Mark which may be included in a Night Lords army is the Mark of Chaos Undivided.

    Vehicles may not be Dedicated to any god in particular.Chaos Biker Squads and Chaos Space Marine Assault squads are scoring units in a Night Lords army.

    Havoc Squads, Chaos Land Raiders and Chaos Vindicators are all 0-1 choices in a Night Lords army.

    A Night Lords army may not be accompanied by Chaos Daemon allies, though they sometimes make use of

    Chaos Furies. As a result, for each Chaos Space Marine Assault Squad or Raptor Cult in the army, a single

    unit of Chaos Furies may be taken as a Fast Attack choice, though they do not take up a slot on the Force

    Organization chart. See Codex: Chaos Daemons for unit details.

    Psychic PowersNight Lords Psykers may not select powers from thePyromancy discipline, but instead may select powers

    from theDivination discipline.

    Overcharged EnginesThe controlling player may declare that an eligible vehicle is going to use its over charged engines in any

    Movement phase just before they are moved.

    Roll a D6. On a roll of 1, the engine stalls and chokes. The vehicle may not move faster than Combat speedthis turn, though the vehicles functionality is otherwise unaffected. On a roll of 2-3, nothing happens and

    the vehicle moves as normal this turn. In a 4 or higher, the boosters kick in and the vehicle may move as if

    it possessed the Fast vehicle subtype for this turn.

    All vehicles in a Night Lords army, excluding Walkers and Fliers, may purchase Overcharged Engines a +5

    pts per model, or +10 pts per model for Chaos Land Raiders

    Bringers of DarknessAll models in a Night Lords army have theNight Vision special rule at no extra cost. Non-vehicle models

    and Walkers also have theFearspecial rule at no extra cost. Chaos Chosen and all Night Lords

    Independent Character have the Stealth special rule at no extra cost.

    All non-vehicle units and Dreadnoughts in a Night Lords army that do not already have it may take the

    Stealth special rule at +3 pts per model.

    Finally, a Night Lords army has the following special rules:

    Darken the SkiesThe Night Lords player may choose to re-roll the dice when checking for night fighting before the start of

    the game if the initial roll comes up negative.

    Terror Raid

    After forces are deployed, but before rolling to Seize the Initiative, the Night Lords player may select up to

    one enemy unit that his opponent is holding in reserves for each of his own units which are also held in

    reserve. The chosen units suffer a -1 penalty to their reserve rolls for the duration of the game. These

    penalties may not be applied to the same unit more than once.

    Kharn always scores a Hit with his melee attacks on a roll of 2+.

    they automatically hit a friendly model (but not Kharn) locked in the same combat. Randomly determine (for each

    roll of a 1) which model is hit, from those within 6" of Kharn. If there are no viable targets in range, these Attacks

    are discarded.

    All models which can do so MUST purchase the Bolter Drill special rule.

    Nurglite Weaponry- Plague KnifesAll models which have the option to purchase a close combat weapon or come armed with one must instead

    purchase a plague knife at +5 pts per model, unless they choose to trade it out for another option at the

    normal cost.

    Any Chaos Cultist units in the same army as Typhus can be nominated as Plague Zombies. Plague Zombies are

    Chaos Cultists that have the Fearless, Feel No Pain and Slow and Purposeful special rules, and cannot purchaseoptions other than to add additional models to the unit. They are armed with a single close combat weapon.

    The Destroyer HiveOnce per game, in any Assault phase, Tvphus can unleash me Destroyer I live instead of attacking. At the start of

    Typhus' Initiative Step, place a large blast marker with the hole centered over Typhus (this does not scatter). All units

    (friend or foe) suffer a number of hits equal to the number of models from their unit that do not have the Plague

    Incubator special rule that are at least partially under me large blast marker. These hits are resolved at Strength 4

    AP2 and have me Ignores Cover special rule. Wounds from this attack cannot be allocated to models with the Plague

    Incubator special rule.

    if they do not already have it. All non-vehicle models without the Psyker special rule gain the All is Dust

    special rules if they do not already have it.

    Additionally, all units which may do so MUST be upgraded to contain a Character model. All models withthe Character type that do not have the option to be made into psykers are made Psykers with Mastery

    Level 1. They must select a single psychic power from the Chaos Psychic Power list.

    If a model has the option to purchase Mastery levels, they MUST purchase at least 1 Mastery Level.

    Walkers Dedicated to Tzeentch in a Thousand Sons army lose the Frenzy special rule if they have it and

    gain the Slow and Purposeful special rule if not within 6 of a model with the Psyker special rule.

    In addition, if Abaddon is the armys Warlord, Chosen, Khorne Berserkers, Noise Marines, Plague Marines andThousand Sons squads are Troops choices.

    Finally, the range of Abaddons Rule Through Fear special rule is doubled to 24.

    Mark of Chaos Ascendant

    Abaddon counts as having the Marks of Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch. He gains the benefits bestowed by

    all four Marks, the benefits of which are included in his profile. In addition, his terminator armor grants him a 4+

    Invulnerable save rather than the normal 5+.

    Daemon Sword Drachnyen

    Abaddon has mastered his Daemon Weapon. He does not have to take mastery tests when using Drachnyen.

    -Playing A Word Bearers Army-______________________________________________________________________________

    Word Bearers Army Rules and Restrictions:

    Unit SelectionAll non-vehicle models in a Word Bearers army must have the Mark of Chaos Undivided.

    All Walkers in a Word Bearers army must be Dedicated to Chaos Undivided. Non-Walker vehicles do nothave to be Dedicated, but if they are it may only be to Chaos Undivided.

    Non-vehicle models and Walkers in a Word Bearers army may select a second Mark of Chaos or

    Dedication at the normal listed price. Models which do so gain the benefits of both Marks or Dedications,

    but do not count as being equipped with the second Mark or Dedication for any other purposes. This

    includes Animosity, Mark specific Wargear, etc.

    Any non-vehicle unit in a Word Bearers army, with the exception of Cultists, that consists of 12 models

    the Chaos Gods for the purpose deep striking allied Chaos Daemon units.

    A Word Bearers army must contain one or more units of Chaos Cultists, but may otherwise select units

    normally from Codex: Traitor Legions and from the list of Word Bearers special characters below.

    Dark ApostlesA single Daemon Prince, Chaos Lord or Chaos Lieutenant in a Word Bearers army may be upgraded to aDark Apostle at +30 points.

    A Dark Apostle gains the Demagogue and Zealot special rules and must replace their boltgun or close

    Alpha Legion Army Rules and Restrictions:

    Unit RestrictionsThe only Mark of Chaos which may be included in an Alpha Legion army is the mark of Chaos Undivided.

    Vehicles in an Alpha Legion army may not be Dedicated to a god.

    An Alpha Legion army may include Insurgent Cells as a Troops choice (see below.)

    Only Insurgent Cells and Chaos Cultists may be equipped with Personal Icons in an Alpha Legion army.

    Any Icons taken by other units do not function as Personal Icons, but otherwise operate normally.

    Covert OperativesUnits of Chaos Cultists in an Alpha Legion army have the Infiltrate special rule at no extra cost.

    Chaos Space Marine Squads in an Alpha Legion army may take the Infiltrate special rule at +1 pt per

    model. However any unit that does so may not take a dedicated transport and counts as a scoring Fast

    Attack choice rather than a Troops choice.Additionally, all units of Chosen in an Alpha Legion army may select two veteran skills. However if two

    are selected, one must be theInfiltrate veteran skill.

    Independent Characters may purchase the Infiltrate special rule at +5 pts per model, but may only make use

    of it if deployed with an Infiltrating Chaos Space Marine or Chosen squad.

    Any units in an Alpha Legion army that Outflank count as having the Pathfinder special rule.

    Behind Enemy LinesThe controlling player of an Alpha Legion army may have their opponent reroll one Reserve roll per turn.

    Rather than deploying normally, if the Warlord of an Alpha Legion army is a Chaos Lord or Chaos

    Lieutenant, the Warlord may instead be placed in any Chaos Chosen Squad , Chaos Space Marine Squad,

    Chaos Space Marine Assault Squad, Chaos Biker Squad or Chaos Havoc Squad in the army, replacing the

    units Character model.

    The only restrictions are that if the Warlord is equipped with Terminator armor, he may only replace

    another model wearing Terminator armor and if he is equipped with a Jump Pack or Chaos Bike, he may

    only join Assault or Biker squads respectively.

    While deploying their army, the controlling player may choose to replace a unit Champion with their

    Warlord as described above. To do so, they must mark down which unit the Warlord is joining. That unit

    must have purchased the option to upgrade a single model to a Champion.

    When replaced in a unit in this way, the Champion gains the Independent Character special rule. That

    model and the Warlord switch places, retaining any wargear they have purchased. However, the models are

    not switched, with the Champion using the Warlords model and vice versa.

    If the Champion is killed, another model, either the actual Warlord or another unit Champion, may declare

    themselves the Warlord, replacing their model with the Warlords so long as they meet the same

    specifications as the model the warlord initially replaced. They gain the Independent Character special rule.

    The controlling player does not have to reveal during the course of the game which models have switched

    places. Any game conditions which rely on the Warlord are only affected by the true Warlord.

    The cell may contain up to two heavy weapon teams. Each team included replaces two insurgent

    models in the same squad. Heavy weapon teams benefit from any armor or grenade options purchased

    by the cell.

    A heavy weapon team must be armed with one of the following, replacing all of its other weapons

    options. All heavy weapon teams in a cell must be armed with the same heavy weapon.
