In addition to the respective codes and standards issued by the organizations and associations for the considered equipment,Siemens Energy Sector has developed own codes and standards like most of the other turbine-generator manufacturers. Sie-mens Energy Sector internal standards are based on the applicable sections of the more significant codes and standards espe-cially on DIN, EN, ISO, IEC, IEEE and ASME and under consideration of VGB and other guidelines such as VDI. Based uponextensive research and development, Siemens Energy Sector has added special knowledge and test results along with sub-stantial experience in design, engineering and manufacturing to provide a product of highest safety, quality, efficiency with anextended lifecycle.
