▪ The Pilgrim’s garments followed the general fashions of the English Court.▪ During the winter the Pilgrims and Puritans wore shawls and boots.▪ The New England colonists were judged how wealthy they were by their wigs.

▪ Modern men wear denim jeans and T-shirts.▪ During the winter modern men wear heavy insulated coatsand boots. ▪ Today men’s hair doesn’t judge how wealthy we are.

▪ Today women wear different styles of clothing depending on where they shop.▪ Some women might shop at Aeropostale, American Eagle, JC Penny’s, Macy’s, and many others.

▪ In modern times if you do not have nice clothes people do not consider you poor.▪ Everyone usually wears the same styles and shops at the same places.
