Through years of hard work, uncountable hours of dedicationand the greatest passion for our work, we have put together a very creative and skilled team who are proud to create eco-friendly designs. As every one of our pieces is handmade out of natural fi bres and materials with our own identity and style, everyone is unique!

The designs for our fashionforward collections are all prepared in Britain and then produced in Ecuador by artisan cooperatives and family owned artisan workshops in rural areas in the Andes Mountains, where poverty rate is high and job opportunities are scarce. The production and quality controlof our fantastic and carefully selected team ensures Claudia Polo’s exclusive design’s beauty and durability, whilst providing solutions to our producers’ community’s high poverty and migration rates.

• Re-address social and environmental issues by being a strong, cutting edge Fair & Ethical trade designer label.

• Work against mass production and ‘fast fashion’ trends by making the best quality, fashionable, and sustainable Fair Trade products.

• Establish long-term, ethical and fair trading relationships with our Ecuadorian producers with respect to their traditional skills, values and identity.

• Support our artisan cooperatives providing them a way to make a living by preserving skills that have been passed on from generation to generation.

• Reduce energy consumption and global climate change by using no industrial machines and avoiding the use of polluting materials or methods.

Terms of Trade

We reserve the right to change prices if necessary and cannot be held responsable for errors or omissions resulting from these changes. Please contact us at info@claudiapolo.com for the current Price List.

Minimum Orders

Our minimum order value is 200GBP. We have a minimum order of 2 items per style and per color.

Lead Times and Production Capacity

Please be aware that most of our range of products is avaliable for advance order only. We require a minimum of 60 days lead time.

Carriage

All prices exclude delivery charge.

Title

All goods remain property of Claudia Polo until the invoice has been settled in full. Payment of the fi rst invoice is always Pro Forma. Payment of subsequent invoices is strictly 30 days. We pay our artisan producers 50-100% in advance of order so we therefore appreciate prompt settlement of our invoices.

Product Specifi cations

Although we make every effort to ensure that descriptions and pictures of our goods are as accurate as possible, these specifi cations should be taken only as a general description. All our products are handmade out of natural fi bres and materials, so their uniqueness and hand crafted nature mean that there may be slight variations in colour or size which are beyond our control.

Returns

Any faulty or damaged items must be returned to us within 28 days for a credit note against your invoice. We cannot accept returns after this period. We reserve the right not to accept returns of products which are in good condition. All returns must be authorised by us before being sent back. Unauthorised returns cannot be accepted.
