ROMANISATION• It is the name to the adaptation to the roman way of life.

People of the Peninsula adopted Roman language: Latin.

• They founded new cities: Tarragona, Mérida and Itálica.

• They built roads, bridges and aqueducts.

• They divided the Peninsula into provinces.

• They built amphitheatres, circuses and thermal baths.

• Free people: PATRICIANS (rich people) and PLEBEIANS (por people).

• Slaves had no rights.
