THE CLASSIC & SPORTS CAR SHOW

2

More than 15,000 discerning visitors flocked to the iconic Alexandra Palace for the inaugural Classic & Sports Car Show from 30 October to 1 November 2015. The premium event – masterminded by Classic & Sports Car magazine and Haymarket Exhibitions, organiser of the globally renowned Autosport International – showcased nearly £200million worth of the world’s most desirable cars, receiving widespread media coverage and rave reviews from visitors and the insudtry alike.

With an overall show theme of 'The Best of British', the central display featured the top 10 British cars ever – with a combined value of £40m. Huge celebrations of the career of Sir Stirling Moss (featuring four of his

most famous racing cars), Aston Martin and one of the greatest ever displays of British motorcycles emphasised the patriotic theme.

Another star attraction was the Interview Stage, where the likes of rally legend Paddy Hopkirk, former F1 linch-pin Ross Brawn and car designing great Professor Peter Stevens drew huge audiences.

Above all, however, it was the unique ambience that enthralled exhibitors and visitors alike, the synthesis of 300 prestigious and glamorous cars with an appropriately beautiful and historic venue.

This year’s must-see Classic & Sports Car Show takes place from 28-30 October 2016.
