Advanced Coursework AP – Advanced Placement courses –
rigorous curriculum through College Board. Course final exam – 3 or higher – college credit may be
obtained. APS – Advanced Placement Scholars Program will be
offered in 5 high schools and students competing this earn a seal on their diploma and recognition from College Board
DE – Dual Enrollment – allows student to take college classes (from Valencia College) no fee but student must have 3.0+ GPA

Liberty High School offers students the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports. All students who wish to tryout/participate in school sports must have a physical.
All athletes must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and get a Doctor’s PHYSICAL. Informational meetings and tryout dates will be announced prior to the start of each sport season.

TESTING PSAT –students can take these in 9th, 10th and 11th
grades – pre-college admissions testing. Florida pays for the testing in 10th grade.
FCAT – Mandatory – Required to pass the 10th grade test for graduation. Reading, Math, Writing and Science. Free through the state.
SAT –college admissions test taken in 11th and 12th grade.
ACT – college admissions test taken in 11th and 12th grade.
PERT – College placement test given by Community Colleges – taken in 11th -12th grades - free
