Welcoe !o 6T 2"15Dear Parents/Caregivers,
I would like to formall welcome ou to the o!cial school ear and also to the
class of "#. #his ear is an important ear for our child as the conclude their
time at primar school and prepare for high school ne$t ear. #he students
have settled into the classroom reall well and have displaed a mature
approach to their classroom %ehaviour and application. #his note is &ust to let
ou know a%out a few things that will %e happening with our class this ear and
also to assist in a smooth start to the ear for all the students.
#his ear our class will %e using #la$$ %o&o,
which is a we%site %ased service that documents
dail records of student %ehaviour throughcollecting points. 't the end of each week reports
a sent home to parents via email with details of
our child %ehaviours (%oth positive and negative)
throughout that particular week. #he students are
ver e$cited a%out creating their do&o avatars and collecting points. #here will
also %e rewards for particular milestones of points that the students reach
throughout the ear.
*ur class will %e developing a blogthat will document the activities and eventsthat the students will %e participating in throughout the ear. #he %log is hosted
% the Department of +ducation and will %e live and active on the internet for a
world-wide audience. I encourage ou to go online and look at the page to see
what the students are doing in class. #he %log will also showcase students work
samples through photos and audio and allow us to connect to the world through
counters and widgets that record visitors to the page. #he link %elow will get
