    A Public Hearing will be held by the Medford City Council in the Howard F. Alden MemorialAuditorium, 85 George P. Hassett Drive, Medford, Massachusetts, on Tuesday Evening, May 272008, at 7:00 P.M. on a petition from Rakesh Patel, d/b/a Spring Street Superette, for a SpecialPermit to extend Hours of Operation to operate its business in accordance with, Chapter 94, section94-145 (b), Extended Hours of Operation on said site being located on 88 Spring Street, MedfordMA., in an SF-2 (Single Family-Two) Zoning District as follows:

    You are hereby notified that by order of the City Council, a Public Hearing will be given

    at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, 85 George P. Hassett Drive, City Hall, Medford,

    Massachusetts at 7:00 P.M., on TUESDAY, May 27, 2008 on a petition of Nation Grid of 170

    Medford Street, Malden, MA. and Verizon of New England for permission to construct a line of

    underground electric conduits, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, under and

    across the public or ways hereinafter named.

    Wherefore it prays that after due notice and hearing as provided by law, it may be granted permission

    to excavate the public highways and to run and maintain underground electric conduits, together with

    such sustaining and protecting fixtures as it may find necessary for the transmission of electricity.

    Said underground conduits to be located substantially in accordance with the plan filed herewith

    marked NationalGrid and Verizon of New England Inc, Plan No. U.G. WR#3598139 Dated 11/02/07.

    The following are the streets and highways referred to:
