God’s Relationship With A Tiny Israel Opens Our Eyes To What God Is Like, What He Is Up To And How

The Rest Of The Planet Could Some Day Fit In.

God is a covenant maker and a faithful covenant keeper. --Daniel 9:4

Covenant defines God’s way of connecting with humans.

We’ve learned that we can have a predictable relationship with the Creator of the universe.

And he had an aim of one day including others…people of all nationalities. --Genesis 12:3

Their Relationship With God Was Based On Sacrifice

Animal sacrifice was God amazing way of resolving the matters of his love and justice. --Leviticus 1:3-4

Sin offerings became the norm…1500 years of blood sacrifice kept Hebrews in a tentative relationship with God.

Unblemished male animals went to the altar…thousands and thousands of them!

Jesus Built On The Idea Of Sacrifice And Forgiveness

He said he would lay down his life for us. --Luke 10:14-18

Jesus used a multitude of parables to describe life in the coming kingdom

Belief in Jesus became the ‘test of fellowship’…believers were given power to become sons of God. --John 1:11-13

The Apostle Peter Explained How The Death, Burial And Resurrection Marked Jesus As The

Messiah… The King of A New Era

The Christ would not be abandoned to the grave. --Acts 2:31

God raised Jesus to life. --Acts 2:32

The conclusion…Jesus is Lord and Savior. --Acts 2:36

The appropriate response? Repent and get baptized. --Acts 2:38
