On 18th April the DCLM Project hosted the first of a series of community stakeholder meetings to encourage partnership working between local charities/organisations and build a solid platform from which to launch new DCLM Project initiative. The meeting was attended by a broad range of local stakeholders including the police, representativesrepresentatives from the Citizens Advice Bureau and local media groups like Toxteth TV.

Attendants discussed the DCLM Projects’ new ventures into debt advice, a soup kitchen and work with women engaged in prostitution. The meeting concluded with some positive arrangements to visit other services and some strong leads to move the projects to the next step.
