Paire de saucières "Cygne", circa 1935En métal argenté, saucière ovale à prise plate et rainurée reposant sur un léger piédouche à motif de vaguelettes et sacuillère au manche à décor de col de cygne, l'ensemble prenant la forme du palmipède. Marquées "PROD.CHRISTOFLE", "FRANCE" et "GALLIA" et poinçon OC à la tête de cheval de la Maison Christofle sur la base.

Stamped "PROD. CHRISTOFLE", "FRANCE" et "GALLIA"and the O.C. trademark with the horse head of Maison Christofle on the base.

HISTORIQUELa première version de cette pièce emblématique de Christian Fjerdingstad a été présentée à la Maison Christofle dès1925. Elle était alors en ambre et en argent. Sa version commerciale n'est apparue qu'en 1935 dans le catalaogue Gallia,la marque déposée par Christofle en 1898 dont l'activité a cessé en 1937.
The first version of this emblematic piece by Christian Fjerdingstad was presented at Maison Christofle in 1925. At thattime it was made of amber and silver. Its commercial version appeared in 1935 in the Gallia catalogue, the trademarkregistered by Christofle in 1898 which ceased its activity in 1937.
