EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
B.S. Electrical Engineering, 1996University of Texas, San Antonio
Senior project was developing a product for the medical industry for neurologically comprised individuals (paraplegics)
Masters in Engineering, University of Texas, Arlington(Some coursework completed to date)
I continue to take job-related classes and seminars when the opportunity presents itself. Some of these include numerous classes from Xilinx, Altera, and Freescale as well as oil field-related and tool-specific topics, chemistry and optics seminars, and whatever other courses I see as beneficial to my position.I am or have been certified for basic items such as DOT Hazmat, Rig Pass, and fork lifts. Safety classes dealing with radiation, explosives, first aid, and Lithium batteries.
Personal InformationI am married with two children. In my non-working hours, I am an ordained deacon who help a position as a children’s Sunday school teacher. I also take martial arts where I’ve enjoyed functioning as both a student and instructor. I have in recent years spent time mentoring and teaching younger people about electronics, programming, and other STEM-related subjects.
