Senior Site Engineer 2015 – now Yeoh Tiong Lay Construction S/B (SPYTL)
Project Implementation Department o Plan and schedule technical and management aspects of construction methods. o Responsible for site work coordination and supervision at site and monitoring quality of
work to ensure compliance with specifications. o Manage and review architectural drawings against construction drawings by
clients/designers. o Network with customers, design engineers, and subcontractors. o Attend site meetings, inspection, and monitoring, as well as prepare the monthly progress
report, management review report, and project quality plan. o Liaise with certain authorities in the development of the project. o Carry out ad-hoc assignments and reports that are requested by top management.
Quality Committee, Project Delivery Department o Undertook a comprehensive review of all company policies regarding standard operating
procedures of all construction methods, purchasing methods, and tender awards. o Developed new standard operating procedures for 3 sectors of (1) construction, (2)
purchasing, (3) tenders for the construction firm. o Researched on methods enforced in construction carried out in Singapore and England to
develop new procedures for construction company. o Managed road show to each project site to explain and tutor each project team on new

QA/QC Department o Engaged Building Construction Agency Singapore to educate project staff on CONQUAS
standards of construction. o Implemented CONQUAS standards of quality control and quality assurance of
construction products. o Train and monitor Junior QA/QC Engineers and Supervisors in carrying out quality
checking works for each element of construction. o Produce monthly quality reports and other testing reports when required. o Train and execute internal ISO audits on a yearly basis.
