The first thing you want to look for is that the cell phone is easy to use and just makes sense to you. If the way you navigate between screens does not make sense to you then you might want to look for a different smartphone. There are quite a few other aspects you want to look into as well, including: overall usability, look and feel, ergonomics, and the functionality of the cell phone.
