Textual Analysis

The results from the questionnaire allowedus to do further research so we could meet the needsof our target audience in our film.

We did textual analysis’ on appropriate films such as;-The Shining 1980 (Kubrick)-Psycho 1960 (Hitchcock)-Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974 (Hooper)-Halloween 1978 (Carpenter)

We were then able to identify the common codes andconventions of the genre and then imitate them in our movie.
