answer which reflects the role you’re playing: Confucianist, Daoist or Legalist. The goal of the sheet is not to give your

own personal opinion, but to apply what you've learned from the notes about the three-ethical system. Write your

Design a National Geographic Magazine cover.

(30 points)

Your cover story will feature:

1. Classical China (choose a single dynasty and their philosophy of choice)

You must include three to four sentences (by-lines) explaining why the feature story is so amazing. Design a

clever and creative title for the feature story. Your writing should be descriptive and accurate, and the cover

should be colorful. Make a draft before using the assigned cover if necessary. Make use of the textbook and

your notebook. Go online to check out some real National Geographic covers to see what they look at and the

techniques used to really make the stories pop. Let those covers be your example and inspiration!

Ex: If I was covering ancient hominid I might have pictures of how hominids changed throughout the ages on a

map of the world as they migrated My title would read: "They walked the walk, if only they had talked the

talk··. My by-lines would read· "Early man's migration from Africa to many other continents was a long

process. From Australopithecus to modern man, bones of different hominids have been found all over the

world They didn't leave behind any written evidence, but archaeologists and anthropologists are working hard

to find out what they can learn from artifacts and fossil remains. Using the latest carbon dating technology,

the picture of what life was like for our many ancestors is coming more into focus.
