“It has been hugely helpful to join in the China-UK Entrepreneurship Competition last year. The organization of the Competition is of very high professional standard and more importantly, provides highly valuable feedbacks from both real entrepreneurs and experts working in the field. In particular the extensive media coverage in China and UK had proved to be instrumental for the fundraising efforts to our project.” ------------ Dr. Fengqiu Wang

“我非常荣幸能够参加中英创业大赛。大赛的组织非常地专业,来

自创业家和专业人士的反馈意见更是相当有帮助。我们的项目在融资方面取得的进展大大得益于参加中英创业大赛过程中的媒体报道,相信对任何创业项目,这个都是十分具有吸引力的。”

2010 Success Stories: iiCap

“Since winning the third prize in the ‘Innovative Business’ track of the China UK Entrepreneurial Challenge 2009/2010 competition, my company Inclusive Innovations Ltd, in partnership with a Manchester based product development company with close tie to a Chinese manufacturer have started production of a brand new cap accessory called the iiClip.

Entering the competition has been very beneficial as it enabled me

to get help to improve my business plan, as well as creating useful publicity which has subsequently helped in raising investment. Of course the prize money was also very useful too.”
