A note from Sr. Helen

Dear Friends, it is that time ofyear again that brings excite-ment and warm well wishes. We have had so many blessingsand you certainly are one ofthem!

Our children are getting readyto put on their costumes and“be scared” in our very ownhaunted house. As you know,November ushers inThanksgiving and the holidayseason. We will continue ourtradition of having each housestaff bring in their favoriterecipes and cook a huge turkey(each one has to feed 18-20 children and staff).

The highlight of the season isour Angel Tree on which hangsSanta’s wish list from eachchild. For some it is their firstSanta List (I’ve never been ableto ask Santa for anything, howdoes it work? Does he know I’mhere)? For others it will be very practical: I need clothes or apair of shoes.

Most will be here Christmasmorning, waking up to what-ever surprises Santa leaves forthem. Without you, none of thisis possible. This year more thanever I need your help to make ithappen. Please know that whatyou give to our children makesa big difference in their lives.

Wishing you all the blessings ofthe season.

Sister Helen
