SUGGESTED “SLIDES” FOR PPT PRESENTATION:

Title Demo has engaging title with student and course/school information.

Introduction/Background Clear introduction with link to Chemistry topic (you do not need to go into detail yet, but give at least an idea of how the demo relates to our learning.) Include how you learned about or thought of the demo. Remember you will need to cite information!

Materials Bulleted, with appropriate amounts and units

Procedure Clearly stated, all steps included and sequential

You may choose to complete the demo between these two portions of your presentation – decide what flow will work best for your group!

Explanation & Relationship to Chemistry (may need 2-3 slides to be complete)

Slides are clear, concise, correct and connect to the Chemistry content with supporting information explaining what has occurred in the demo. Details about the reactions (such as a balanced chemical equation) and/or demonstration are provided to link its relationship to Chemistry. Remember you will need to cite information!

Conclusion Slide should clearly summarize key concepts and relevance to Chemistry.

Resources At least 3 resources are cited using MLA format. Information is synthesized, not plagiarized.
