How does it work?

You are by no means contractually bound. To make things easy Chef on the Spot developed a smartphone app. In this app you can simply indicate whether

you would like to order a meal for that evening or not. Once you’ve downloaded the app you will receive a push notification at 12:00 hours every day asking

you if you would like to order a meal. The first time you order you pay with iDEAL. You will then be requested to allow Chef on the Spot to collect all future

payments using direct debit. That way the next time you order all you have to do is press ‘yes’ twice to order a delicious evening meal.

It’s easy: no obligations, you decide when you want to order a meal!

How can I join?

1. Send an email to [email protected] from your @tesla.com account with the following information:

-Name

-Surname

-Email address (please only use an @tasla.com address)

2a. Go to the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android) and download the CHEFONTHESPOT app.

2b. You will receive an email at your @tesla.com email address with your credentials for the app. Please use these when you log in as your account is strictly

personal and cannot be transferred to another person.

3. Please indicate any dietary preferences and allow the app to send you push notifications.

4. You will receive a push notification at 12:00 hours. Please indicate whether you would like to order a meal for that evening or not.

5. If you do not want to order a meal for that evening no action is required. If you do, please press ‘yes’ to accept and press ‘yes’ again to confirm.

6a. The first time you order, iDEAL will send you to a bank payment to pay € 9.95. This payment will allow Chef on the Spot to collect all future payments

using direct debit. This makes ordering a meal even easier as you do not have to worry about the method of payment.

6b. The next time you order, all you have to do is press ‘yes’ to accept and press ‘yes’ again to confirm. € 9.95 will be collected from your bank account.

7. After you paid you can collect the meal of the day from Chef on the Spot’s chef in the canteen at 18:30 hours. Please bring your smartphone to confirm

your payment has been processed.

Check your Tesla email for your personal password and username.

Personalize your account

Here you can indicate your dietary preferences.

If you indicate your preferences (e.g. allergies), your meal will be adjusted accordingly.

You will receive a push notification every day. You can decide daily if you eat at the office or at home.

Pay with iDEAL and direct Debit

The first time you pay with iDEAL, you will have the option of checking a box that states “Collect all future payments using direct debit” (SEPA DirectDebit). Please do so, as this is the preferred method of payment.

Dine at the office or take away at 18:30

You will receive a chef’s menu every day.

FAQ:

1.Can I choose between different meals? No, Chef on the Spot’s chef will surprise you every day.

2. Can I indicate any food allergies? Yes you can! Please check page 3 for more information.

3. Can I cancel an order? We are sorry but this is not possible. The chef prepares fresh meals every day and the ingredients are bought on the

same day. After confirming your order the payment will be collected and the chef will count you in.

4. Is it possible to cancel an order with a good reason? We are sorry but this is not possible. You can give your meal to a colleague or we will

throw it away…what a waste!

5. I do not want my payment to be collected using direct debit, is there any other method of payment? To keep it simple Chef on the Spot decided

to use only one method of payment: direct debit. Chef on the Spot is a reliable partner of Tesla. In case something does go wrong you can cancel

the payment through your bank.

6. I do not have a smartphone that uses the operating system of Apple or Android. Can I order a meal? We are sorry but these are the only

operating systems that support our app. However, if we see a high demand for an app that is supported by another operating system we are more

than willing to develop one. Should you have any requests regarding the app please send an email to [email protected]. We will send

you a reply as soon as possible.

If you do not have a smartphone with the Apple or Android operating system but do wish to order a meal please ask you colleague to order your

meal or use a tablet to order.

7. Is it possible to indicate whether you are having your meal at the office or prefer to take away? We are sorry but this is not yet possible. This

option will be added in future updates of the app. For those wishing to take away, boxes (bio doggy bags) will be available in the canteen.

8. Certain allergies and dietary preferences cannot be indicated in the app, what should I do? Please send an email to [email protected].

You will receive a reply as soon as possible. When cooking your meal, your dietary preferences will of course be considered by Chef on the

Spot’s chef.

9. I’m a vegetarian, how can I indicate this? Any dietary preferences can be indicated in the app.

10. I’m on a diet, will the chef consider this when cooking my meal? Any dietary preferences can de indicated in the app.
