Ate Annalyn “Bebs/Bebols” Espiritu’s current situation as a Manininda of UP/CHE Minutes of the meeting with Annalyn Espiritu, BCO and SMUPC Jaimee Lopez A meeting was requested with BCO and some members of Samahan ng Manininda sa UP Campus (SMUPC) to discuss the current situation of Ate Annalyn Espiritu, who is commonly referred by the CHE Community as Ate Annalyn, Bebs or Bebols. The meeting took place at the BCO office from 1:30 – 4 PM, July 15, 2014. Attendees: - Members from Samahan ng Manininda sa UP Campus

Note: the only names we were able to get are Larry and Edna - Officers from BCO (w/ Director Florendo heading the meeting) - CHE Student Council

- Odina Fungo - Cams Abandula - Shiela May Noceda - Tentay De Leon - Jaimee Lopez

Current situation of Ate Bebs: She is no longer part of SMUPC This is the important points that were raised by both parties: From BCO's side Isang manininda na lang daw sa CHE (currently there are two, as of writing, Ate Luzviminda and Ate Bebs) Why? 1. Nacall ang attention ng traffic ng mga tao sa CHE 2. Dean Roldan requested that only one manininda for the college Proposal: One will stay in front of Alon, one will go to CIDL. However, this is not the case anymore since Ate Bebs is not part of Samahan.

From Manininda’s side Cases against Ate Annalyn: 1. She does not attend meetings (Members are required to attend GAs of SMUPC) 2. She does not buy some food items from Samahan (Not allowed under the constitution of SMUPC) 3. She has a large amount of debt to Samahan a. Cart SMUPC said establishment of carts are priced at 26k Ate Annalyn said establistment of carts are priced at 16k Note: This is not yet confirmed and is yet to be validated by receipts b. Merchandise purchases from Samahan amounting to roughly 20k Note: These debts have only been said by SMUPC but it has NOT yet been validated. CHE SC is working on the validation of these debts. Ate Bebs said she was guilty of all these charges. However, there are also personal valid reasons, which were not mentioned in the meeting, as to why she did not abide by these rules. Solutions to problems Option 1: Alisin si Ate Bebs (dahil tanggal na talaga siya sa samahan and SMUPC is the only one allowed to sell in UP Campus) Option 2: If the samahan were to let ate Bebs go back to them, which is subject to a General Assembly (Votation), she will abide by Samahan's rules and Babayaran ang utang ni Ate Bebs. Option 3: Samahan will give her one last chance to start fresh, clean records (Subject to SMUPC’s Approval) Option 4: Magaway sila, at magubusan silang lahat ng lahi Option 5: Tanggalin si Ate Bebs and Ate Luzviminda dahil parehas silang may case na malaki ang utang para fair. Note: Ate Luzviminda has debt to UP for water usage (MWSS). If the basis for removing ate Bebs is the large debt she owes to Samahan, then the others should be given the same treatment as well. Fair treatment for everybody, hence the removal of Ate Luzviminda. Ate Annalyn’s Compromise: If she is given one more chance to become part of SMUPC, she will abide by the rules of the SMUPC strictly and she will find a way to pay for the debt she owes to Samahan.

Verdict: Ate Bebs and Ate Luzviminda is not allowed to sell in CHE/UP anymore starting at July 18, 2014 (Friday) unless both accounts has been resolved. CHE SC Action plan: 1. Document all Ate Bebs’ receipts and receive the list of paid and unpaid debts (Merchandise and Cart) of Ate Bebs to compare both so we know the exact amount. Note: Exact amount is still not definite 2. Appeal to Samahan to reconsider Ate Bebs, provided she will make amends for her shortcomings (Aattend na siya ng meeting, tatangkilikin na niya ang products ng Samahan) and will put a dent to her debt to Samahan (after SC confirms her debt) 3. Help ate Bebs put a dent to her debt because it’s big. Suggestions? - Open to CHE community and ask their opinions because we are clueless as of the moment. #LabanBebolsLaban #It’sNotOverTilIt’sOver
