We are currently campaigning for the 2008 National Championship in SeniorHonda, Light 160, and World Formula classes. Motor racing is the world’s largest spectator sport, second only to soccer. A full 32% of any crosssection of the general public expresses a strong interest in motor sports. This market is the fastestgrowing sport in America and it shows from looking at the companies involved in every facet ofthe business. Growth rates in motor sports are breaking records while most other entertainmentand promotional media are static or in decline.

Quarter Midget Racing is an amazing and growing form of auto racing. It allows youth ages 5-17(you may not compete on or after your 17th Birthday) to compete at different levels in close sideby side racing action. Many of our kids move on to the highest levels in oval track racing.NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon is probably the most famous. The Quarter Midget racecars are safefor our kids, and are arguably safer than playing soccer, football, or other sports. Many greatlessons in life are taught through racing, from being a humble winner to a gracious loser, to thehard work it takes both on and off the track to be a front runner on race day.

With the price of fuel and the lower participation in the 2008 season we have decided to run threeQuarter midgets and not pursue other types of racing until 2010 or 2011.

Dowd Motorsports is thrilled, and fortunate to allow our son the privilege of racing at this level.We are also proud to bring a professional and courteous attitude to our sponsors, fans andcompetitors. We feel that attitude is one of the most important contributors to our own successand to the success of our sponsors. Who is Dowd Motorsports?

Dowd Motorsports is the foundation for a young man to reach his maximumpotential in motor sports competition. Formed in 2004, we began with one usedcar, help from Uncle Bill, Buckwalter Motorsports, and friends. Mitchell competedon both dirt and asphalt tracks collecting over 20 feature wins in his first season.

Over the past 5 seasons, Dowd Motorsports has collected over 100 winningtrophies from races on both asphalt, and dirt tracks around the country. Mitchellhas set track records and fast times at multiple events throughout our localregion. Some of these records stand today after multiple tries to break them.

For 2009, Dowd Motorsports is looking to field three quarter midget cars with oureyes on many wins in each class. We have the best safety equipment, engines,and driver attitude. We hope to partner with the finest in sponsors and to workwith them to maximize marketing strategies to increase sponsor exposure,including calendars, digital photo printing at events and autograph cards. Thereis no doubt 2009 will be the most productive season yet!

Promotional Opportunities

SPONSOR NAME/LOGO ON CAR, TRUCK HAULER, AND UNIFORMThe sponsor name and/or logo decal may be placed on the car, hauler, and driver’suniform. The items may also be decorated with the sponsor colors. This will be done in amanner that will make the company highly visible at all races, events and during transitbetween locations.

ADVERTISINGThe team offers a wide variety of options for its sponsors to increase name awarenessthrough visibility in the community, with the intent to ultimately improve sponsorrevenue. These may include but are not limited to all types of at track and car showadvertising, personal appearances, parades and media coverage. The team will work withsponsors to customize a program which will best suit the needs of their specificadvertising objectives.

ATTENDING SPONSOR EVENTSThe team offers involvement in sponsor events such as open houses, anniversaries, salesevents, picnics, etc. These events not only increase the company’s exposure throughcommunity attendance, but also improve public relations, employee unity and morale.They can also help to increase the company’s clientele base and customer loyalty.
