Engage with the change. This means:
• Value the change. If you did the preparatory
would, the change you want will be highly
meaningful and expression of your best self.
• Be prepared to stretch.
• Approach each day with a playful, curious
mindset that enables you to:
• Identify, embrace, and capitalize on the
problems that will happen. Play the
outer game to win.
• Refresh and build your meanings and
frames about yourself and the change.
Win the inner game.

Take time to solidify the
change
• Recognize where, when,
and with whom the change
is happening
• Nurture yourself along the
way. Encourage yourself,
get encouragement, and
celebrate!

Be aware of what is
happening
• Step back and observe how it’s
working and what the problems
may be.
• Be open to and seek feedback
on what’s happening
Find the answers to these questions:
• Do you have access to your new behaviors
and actions all the time?
• How are you continually learning and
growing?
• What is your accountability structure?
• Are you confident of keeping the change?
