Ottoman Sultans’ wives and mothers lived in this part of the Palace.

Hurrem Sultan

Harem dairesinin altında İstanbul'un yedi tepesine ulaşan yedi farklı tünel olduğu rivayet edilir.

It is still rumoured that under the Harem part of the Palace, there are seven tunnels which lead to the seven hills of the city.
