This year we recognise the need to assure you best value for money as well as great service. We have therefore pulled out all the stops to make this year our best ever. The Granary Hotel and Restaurant offers a versatile venue to cater for just about all your needs - from a relaxing lunch or dinner in our 2 AA Rosette Restaurant overseen by Head Chef, Tom Court - to a group Christmas Carvery Party night. As well as A la carte meals, the kitchen brigade can create menus specifically for your event as well as finger buffets and discos to suit your budget. Our party Coordinator is very experienced and will help arrange table setting, decor, entertainment and any special requests.

ACCOMMODATION - Why not stay the night in one of our sixteen contemporary Hotel Bedrooms or 2 striking Executive Suites. This gives you the perfect recovery following a little over indulgence followed by a hearty Worcestershire breakfast. Group and Corporate rates available. THERE ARE 2 MAIN CHOICES

1 The Restaurant which serves a Carvery Lunch and a special Christmas Dinner menu through December. With its own stylish Bar, the Restaurant can seat up to 70 people.

2 The Orangery Suite seats up to 170 guests. Christmas party nights and the larger events are held in here. If you would like to hold a Private Lunch or Dinner, the Orangery is the place. Prices start from £17.50 per person.

CHRISTMAS EVE

The Restaurant is open for Dinner on Christmas Eve which has become something of a Granary tradition. A special Celebratory Christmas Dinner by candlelight with Helen Barley singing and playing Harp. This is a quiet and peaceful way to see in Christmas and to celebrate it in song. £27.50pp.

CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH

Both the Restaurant and Orangery Suite are open for a really special Christmas Day Lunch. We promise you a warm, fun and enjoyable 5 course meal with all the trimmings and things you would expect. Arrive at 12.30pm for a 1.00pm sit down. See pages 9 and 10 for details. £75.00pp. Please note that payment in full will be required before the end of November. Please refer to page 17 for methods of payment.

BOXING DAY LUNCH / NEW YEAR’S DAY LUNCH

These lunches will take place both in the Restaurant between 12.30pm and 2.15pm and in the Orangery at 12.30pm, 1.00pm and 1.30pm. The price is £27.50pp for Boxing Day and £22.50pp for New Year’s Day. Menus are the same. Please note that again we require payment in full by the end of November. Please see page 7 for menu details.

NEW YEAR’S EVE IN THE RESTAURANT

The Restaurant is the quieter option where you can have a peaceful meal, yet will still be able to join the main Party in the Orangery Suite. After dinner, the hotel will have set up tables and chairs in the lounge and bar adjacent to the Orangery Suite so you can join the celebrations.

A cocktail on arrival at 7.30 pm followed by a great 6 course meal at 8.00pm.This is followed by dancing to our resident D.J. through until the early hours.See 2013 in with style. Black Tie is optional.

Bar is open to 1.30am and finish at 2.00am. Priced at £65.00pp.The price for the Orangery is slightly higher at £70.00pp. See page 8 for menu.

Accommodation is available at £60.00pp Bed and Breakfast for a standard en-suite bedroom or £85.00pp for an Executive Suite. (Based on 2 people sharing a twin/double room).

We intend to entertain you to a relaxed and leisurely lunch served only as the Granary knows how for all the family!

Join us for a glass of Mulled Wine or a Sparkling Cocktail on arrival, then sit down for a hearty but leisurely lunch with a comprehensive Wine list for you to choose your own wines.

This will not be a Carvery lunch we will be serving you direct from the Kitchen, so no queuing!

Take your time and enjoy. A great way to enjoy Christmas and relax, Let us take the strain out of Christmas for you.

The Restaurant will be staggering times so you can book to arrive at either 12.30pm or 1.00pm.

The Orangery Suite will have 3 arrival times: 12.30pm, 1.00pm and 1.30pm.

Our suggestion is that any party of 8 or more is better to have a table in the Orangery. There is more room and it allows you a bigger circular and other tables. If in doubt, please ring and ask.

PARTY NIGHTS FROM JUST £22.00pp

If you want to party over Christmas you have found the right place. Our Granary Party Nights are great fun and consist of a four course traditional Carvery, Dinner and Dance with our resident and very experienced DJ and start from Friday 30th November.

The tables are organised to suit your numbers. The Suite can seat up to 170 guests each evening. The Orangery Suite is spacious, light and air conditioned throughout. Arrive at 7.00pm with a sit-down time of 7.30pm. Prices start at £22.00pp.

STAY OVERNIGHT

Why not stay over and not worry about travel? All our bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard and are ensuite. We are offering a special Party Night Bed and Breakfast price of just £32.50 per person (based on 2 people sharing a twin/double room).

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY LUNCH WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS - Sunday 16th December

Yes , we have booked Santa again this year especially for the family.

We have not only booked Santa this year but a Magician as well to entertain the kids at the table. The Magician will be followed by Santa giving out presents to the children after the meal. This is always great fun for all the family. Arrive at either 12.00pm, 12.30pm or 1.00pm. If you have children and would like them to see Father Christmas you would need to book in the Orangery rather than the Restaurant. £19.95 for adults and £11.50 per child.

CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH

The Granary Christmas Day lunch is served in both the Restaurant and the Orangery Suite. The Orangery Suite is better if you have a party of 8 or more. The menu is the same. A traditional 5 course Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. We suggest arriving at either 12.30pm, 1.00pm or 1.30pm to sit at 1.00pm and 1.30pm.

Have a welcoming complimentary drink on arrival and sit down to a leisurely meal with all the things you might expect for Christmas Day.See pages 9 and 10 for menu details.

BOXING DAY LUNCH

NEW YEAR’S EVE IN THE ORANGERY

A Special New Year’s Eve Celebration. A Cocktail on arrival at 7.30pm followed by a great 6 course meal at 8.00pm accompanied by Ray Mason playing Jazz piano. This is followed by dancing to our resident D.J. through until the early hours. See 2013 in with style.Black Tie optional.

The Orangery is for those who like to be near to the action. The Menu is the same as in the Restaurant. The Restaurant is the slightly quieter option! Bar open to 1.30am and finish at 2.00am. Please go to page 8 for the menu.

Priced at £70.00 per person for the Orangery and £65.00 per person for the Restaurant. Please make sure you are booked into the room of your choice.

HOW TO BOOK - The Restaurant

Please phone and book with Reception. We would ask that you leave your contact telephone number with us for reference. We will ring you the week before your booking in order to confirm numbers. For Dinner bookings, a deposit of £10.00 per person is asked for at the time of booking for parties of 8 or more. The hotel requires payment in full for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day lunch as well as New Year’s Eve dinner in advance.

The Orangery

If you are booking a Christmas Party night, please state that you wish to make a Christmas Party Booking. We will then pass you to the Party Night co-ordinator who will deal with your queries and help you make the reservation. For anything else, please state the event and we will put you in touch with relevant person.

A non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person will be required at the time of booking for all Party Nights and room reservations. The balance of both must be paid in full by the 31st October. Any bookings made from the 1st November onwards must be paid in full. You can use the booking form opposite.

HOW TO PAY - By Post

Please fill in the booking form which you will find opposite and state your method of payment by ticking the relevant box. If paying by Cheque, this should be made payable to: “The Granary Hotel” and a single cheque per party booking is preferred please. If paying by Debit card, please fill in the relevant boxes and we will debit your card when we receive the form. We will issue you with a receipt by return.

If you prefer to secure payment over the phone, you can pay a Deposit or Payment in Full by Debit Card. We would ask that Credit Cards are not used for payment in either event. Should there be no other option to payment by Credit Card we reserve the right to add a surcharge of 2%.

CANCELLATION
