The Stranger

• When he saw the strange man he ran off but he fell. When he fell Bailey helped him up to the truck.

• Bailey called the doctor that looked at the stranger’s heart and bones, looked at his eyes, and took his temperature.

• Bailey lent the stranger clean clothes with buttonholes but the stranger did not know how to do buttonholes.

• The next morning Katy watched the stranger from her bedroom and the stranger picked up a rabbit and let it go .

• That evening Katy sat with the stranger watching the sun set and looking at the geese flying. The stranger could not take his eyes off.

The stranger looked at the leaves thought he has to leave.

• When Katy and Mr. Bailey and Mrs. Bailey came out side he was gone.
