About Chris Looney
Christopher K. Looney
Operational Vice President
Chris Looney joined CCS in 1998 and presently serves as Operational Vice
President with responsibility for managing the company’s operations in southern
California. Chris has 15 years of experience working with non-profit organizations
on major fundraising initiatives and has assisted hundreds of clients with audits,
assessments, strategic plan development, feasibility and planning studies,
annual fundraising, and capital campaigns. Over the years, Chris has helped his
clients, including some of the nation’s most sophisticated and well-known non-
profit institutions, raise hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of a broad
spectrum of needs. Chris’ clients have included: hospitals; schools; churches;
regional, national and international social service agencies; civic institutions; and
more. Chris’ primary areas of expertise are in designing strategic development
plans, preparing for major gift solicitations, and managing capital campaigns.
Chris is a member of the CCS Training Institute faculty and remains actively
involved in the Association of Fundraising Professionals throughout southern
California. Chris currently serves on the Board of Directors of the AFP
International Foundation. Chris earned his B.A. from Princeton University and
currently resides in Irvine, California with his wife, Anisha, their son, Gavin, and
their daughter, Giselle. Chris serves as President of the Princeton Club of
Orange County and is actively involved with Mariners Church.

introduce new classes, provide new programming and performance spaces, upgrade buildings and mechanical
systems, and to restore the beautiful historic Italian architecture. The $7.5 million campaign is off to a strong start
with nearly $3 million raised in its first few months.

MusiCares Foundation is conducting a $15 million campaign to expand existing services, add a new low-cost
housing program, and fund an endowment in conjunction with its 20th Anniversary. Nearly $12 million has been
raised to date.

CCS is partnered with UCI’s Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center on a $110 million campaign for research,
faculty retention, and expanded clinical programs and trials. More than $30 million has been raised to date.

CCS assisted Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles with a comprehensive campaign to build and renovate
over 500 homes in the greater Los Angeles community. Over $50 million was raised.
