Day 16 Today is your chance to voyage to the heart of themagnificent Great Barrier Reef aboard a catamaran. Arriveat Reefworld, one of the largest reef pontoons in Australia

Day 17 This morning, depart Daydream Island and return to themainland. Head to Townsville, North Queensland’s largestcity. Continue along the coast between lush mountainswith tropical vegetation and sandy beaches. Yourdestination is Cairns, a cosmopolitan city where itsresidents enjoy an enviable tropical lifestyle. Two Night Stay: The Hotel Cairns, a tropical haven in theheart of Cairns.

Day 18 This morning following breakfast, drive along the coast toPort Douglas. On arrival here, enjoy free time beforeheading to Kuranda, a village in the rainforest where youcan wander the local markets. Travel aboard the KurandaSkyrail Rainforest Cableway or Kuranda Scenic Railway(both at own expense) or by coach back to Cairns. Day 2 Calgary Day sightseeing in the “Stampede City”

Day 3 Depart Calgary this morning for a full-day tour concluding in Lake Louise. Journey toKananaskis where you will enjoy a 12-minute Summit Helicopter Tour over theremarkable landscape of the Rockies. Continue on to Banff for a sightseeing tourincluding Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. A trip onthe Banff Gondola is included. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 4 Today your tour takes you through the magnificent Canadian Rockies past theSaskatchewan River Crossing to Cline River. Here you will enjoy a 25-minutehelicopter flightseeing tour above the six glaciers of Mount Resolute, Mount Clineand the Whitegoat Peaks. You will also view a 270-metre (900-foot) waterfall, seesome spectacular aqua-green high-alpine lakes and cross over a 2,700-metre(9,000-foot) mountain pass. A visit to a local ranch will provide ample time todiscover the walking trails on-site and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Overnight inBanff.

Day 5 Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops. Highlights includethe Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Passand Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.Overnight in Kamloops

Sunday - On the Venice Simplon Orient ExpressEmbark at London Victoria on the British Pullman for Folkestone,during which lunch accompanied by a welcoming glass of champagneand fine wines is served. On arrival, transfer by Eurotunnel shuttlecoach to Calais. The magical sight of the gleaming blue and goldwagons-lits of the continental sleeper train awaits your arrival. Afterbeing escorted to your cabin, change for dinner and perhaps visit thebar car for an aperitif. Our specially prepared menus by Chef ChristianBodiguel are a highlight of the journey. The train stops in Paris around10pm to welcome other passengers.

Monday - VeniceAwake this morning in the Swiss Alps and, after a continentalbreakfast served in your cabin, relax and enjoy the spectacularscenery of Austria. Lunch is served as the train enters Italy. Enjoy anafternoon tea before crossing the lagoon and arriving in Venice around6pm, where you stay on Bed & Breakfast at the Londra Palace Hotelfor two nights.

Tuesday - VeniceEnjoy your time in Venice at leisure. Optional sightseeing toursavailable.

Wednesday Say farewell to Venice as you embark on the Venice Simplon-Orient-

Express. On arrival at Santa Lucia Station, your personal stewardsettles you into your cabin, followed by lunch as you travel throughthe Italian Dolomites and into Austria. Afternoon tea and pastries areserved before arrival into Innsbruck late afternoon. Enjoy a gourmetdinner, devised by Chef Christian Bodiguel, and perhaps a night cap inthe bar before an overnight on board.

ThursdayContinental breakfast is served in your cabin as the train arrives inParis. A short stop is made to allow fellow travellers to board ordisembark and to pick up supplies. A delicious and extensive brunch isserved before arriving in Calais around noon. Cross to England byEurotunnel shuttle coach and embark on the British Pullman train forLondon Victoria during which time a traditional afternoon tea isserved. Arrive around 5.30pm.

Day 5 Oudtshoorn – Knysna. Today we travel over Outeniqua Pass to George, continueto Knysna and board ferry to the Featherbed Nature Reserve Enjoy trailer ride totop of Western Head and walk back through Milkwood trees for lunch. Overnightin Knysna.

Day 6 Knysna. We drive through Nature’s Valley and the Tsitsikamma Forests. Return toKnysna via Plettenberg Bay. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 7 Knysna – Hermanus. We travel via George, Mossel Bay and Swellendam (lunch).Continue to Hermanus - world’s best shore based whale watching sites.Overnight in Hermanus.
