Course Length: 3 days Price: $1350 This course expands on the knowledge learned in the CATIA: Introduction to Surface Design class by covering advanced curve and surface topics found in the Generative Shape Design Workbench. Topics include: advanced curve construction, advanced swept, blend and offset surface construction, complex fillet creation, and the use of laws. Curve and surface analysis will be intro- duced to validate the student’s geometry. Tools and methods to rebuild geom- etry are also discussed. As with the CATIA: Introduction to Surface Design course meeting model specifications, like continuity settings, remains forefront in introducing tools and methodologies. Course Topics: • Surface Design Overview • Advanced Wireframe Elements • Curve Analysis and Repair • Swept Surfaces • Blend Surfaces • Adaptive Sweep • Laws • Advanced Surface Fillets • Alternative Filleting Methods • Duplication Tools • Knowledge Templates • Surface Analysis and Repair • Offset Surfaces • Project Exercises CATIA V5 Training Advanced Surface Design TRAINING CENTERS United States Atlanta, GA Boston, MA Charlotte, NC Chicago, IL Cleveland, OH Columbus, OH Dallas, TX Detroit, MI Grand Rapids, MI Albuquerque, NM Salt Lake City, UT Seattle, WA Indianapolis, IN Newport Beach, CA Canada Montreal, PQ Toronto, ON Vancouver, BC Prerequisites: CATIA V5: Introduction to Surface Design Adaptive Corporation 118 W.
