• SynopsisGranda is very upset to be sent to the home and it breaks Rory’s heart to see him cry. At Castle Street, Rory fights with Tess. Rory becomes exasperated when Granda retreats further and further into a shell while at Rachnadar and at school, the idea of being fostered by Mrs Foley worries him. Life is certainly unpleasant in Castle Street when Tess become sincreasinglyuncontrollable. Rory decides that the only way is to run away with Granda.

Granda

-Relied on Rory. He was agitated when Rory came to visit him at Rachnadar because he thought Rory was going to take him home.

-Pessimistic.

Tess

-Grumpy. Yelling at people when she gets angry. Make sure she ruined everybody’s day when she is in a bad mood.

-Violent. Fight with Rory in Castle Street when Rory let her to shut up.

• Be a responsible family member.

Rory shows his care towards his granda by trying to save his granda from staying in Rachandar. Therefore, he decided to save his granda by running away from there.
