Jos, how long have you been wearing Northwave?How was your choice?Woowww! Let me think... 1995-1996-1997 then I had a break and came back to Northwave in 2004 until now! So this means 13 yearsWhy did I chose Northwave? Well, as a junior I saw NW as the best company with the best image: a new, fresh, and pure MTB brand. This is why I signed with NW early in my career. They supported me from the beginning. After that I had always some kind of debt because NW was among the first to support me as a young rider.Right now I keep going with NW because of many reasons: innovation, performance and weight. But the main reason is that I feel like being at HOME with NW.

If Extreme was a challenge to be overcome for you,what would it be?Well, thinking that Extreme is something that you can touch its not correct! When I think about extreme, I mean looking more into myself, to improve every year. I have to find my limits, my inside extremes!And you know, it is much harder than going for big jumps, steep climbs or extreme downhills.

What are the characteristics of Extreme you love the most?I love the Extreme shoes because theyre a mix of all the things that a rider needs: light, stiff sole, simple but functional cover, good grip and simple closing systems. And of course a touch of Italian style with colors!

How do you see the world Northwave?Its a fresh world, made of dynamic people that capture their passions for cycling and put them in cycling products! And the best is that you can see that LOVE in each product from a shoe to a pair of sunglasses going through socks, clothing, all for cycling users.

What is your dream for this 2013? Jajajj dream! Well, many dreams are in my mind but the majority of dreams makes it better in dreams than in reality! (this so poetic ahahah!). For this season Im going to focus in the World cup and European champs. In any case the 3 main goals for me will be the World cups stages in Germany, Italy and Andorra and the World Championships in South Africa, a race that I love!

Ralph, how long have you been wearing Northwave? How was your choice?Thats my seventh season that Im riding with Northwave shoes. I always liked Northwaves products because of their innovations and functionality.

What are the characteristics of Extreme Tech MTB you love the most?The lightweight and the stiffness of the shoe are the things that make the NW Extreme better than any other shoe.

How do you see the world Northwave?I see the world very bright. Always nice colors and modern products.

What is your dream for this 2013?I would wish to recover fast now from my injuries and get straight back to the world best bikers on podium of the World Cup.

For 2013 Northwave is the official sponsor of Team Vacansoleil-DCM. A very important sponsorship for the company, that stands out once again by selecting one of the most important world teams: for the third year in a row confirming its World Pro Tour license after meeting the results, ethics, administrative and financial requirements necessary to obtain the important license. The Dutch team changed nearly a quarter of its line-up, adding amongst others Juan Antonio Flecha to lead the team in Spring Classics, while to fight for the Big Tours, the team will rely on the addition of Jos Rujano, Wesley Kreder, Danny Van Poppel and Willem Wauters. The Colombian team, but based in Italy, is led by a historical name of professional cycling, the team manager Claudio Corti, who won in his career with his athletes three Giro dItalia.

Team Colombias multi-year project aims to restore the Colombian cycling as a constant presence at the top of this sport, and the future seems bright for this new wave of young Colombian talents, fresh off a wildcard for the Pink Race.

The harsh climate, new diets and the frenetic pace that characterizes the most important events of the beginning of the season immediately tested the mettle of this group of young Colombians, which has the merit of having continued steadfastly in their work, confident in the path designed by Claudio Corti and his athletic directors.The team has already collected

Cyclists safety is a top priority for Northwave. This is why we added several reflex points in most of our shoes collection, in order to increase the visibility under low light conditions. Innovative solutions, incorporated in the upper, like the reflective logo on the heel of Sonic and Scorpius, nearly invisible in sunlight, are extremely bright when subjected to artificial light sources.

Ladattatore in nylon, con una sottile placca in alluminio (permette di eliminare ben 8,5gr) consente di rispettare la naturale anatomia della suola mantenendo minima la distanza tra piede e pedale in qualsiasi posizione. Senza aggiunte di ingombri e peso come avviene nei sistemi senza adattatore.
