Air Max Clean Mat proposal

Expected effects

Global warming, expansion of desertification and increase o f greenhouse gas are generating new viruses such as new flu viruses, avian flu viruses and various types of influenza viruses. These viruses spread through the fine dust in air and present serious impact on the health of the people living and become causes of various types of diseases.

Indoor air pollution is single biggest environmen-tal health risk especially in such places with a lot of floating population as offices, marts, public offices, air port and transport terminals due to the fine dust on floors from shoes. Indoor floors contain so much carpet properties that they are vulnerable to fine dust. They may have impact on respiratory systems to cause respiratory diseases, which can be easily infected.

The floating germs from shoes can be minimized by 80% through Air Max Clean Mat to be installed in the entrance, which prevents fine dust and various types of harmful materials from floating into the indoor for the sake of ultimate indoor air quality improvement.

Dust sucking system contribustes to the improvement of indoor enviromental quality and to the workforce productivity by keeping the health of the people.

All the floating harmful germs from customer's shoes entering into your bulding can be blocked in order for you to "keep the indoor air clean."

Installation of this system may be "the means of the clean image of the company" that concerns about sanitation and environment.

Demand for Entrance Mats

Size of Fine Dust and Impact on Human Body

·It costs about 800,000 Korean Won to get rid of 1kg of foreign materials that floated into building.·A building with 1,000 people in and out daily takes in 10kg of dirt, dust and foreign materials a month.·A building with no efficient mat system keeps only 56% of floor wax remained within 2-meter of the entrance after 1,500 people come in and out.

·The research says that 80% of the fine dust indoor comes from shoes.·It has been dirt or dust that the existing carpet-type mats are designed to prevent from but it is now and will be in the future the fine dust that mats should block.·In order to remove the foreign materials 100%, you need a 10-meter long mat but that's not all. Mats can be contaminated and consequently may bring terrible disease-causing bacteria.

According to WHO's report, maximum 6 million people die from the air pollution, 2.8million people die from indoor air pollution and a pollutant released indoors is a thousand times more likely to reach our lungs than a pollutant released outdoors.
