Leopard

The leopard (Panthera pardus) is a member of the Felidae family with a wide range in some parts of Africa and tropical Asia.

Cheetah

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large feline (family Felidae, subfamily Felinae) inhabiting most of Africa and parts of the Middle East.

Felidae

Felidae is the biological family of the cats; a member of this family is called a felid.

Lion

The lion (Panthera leo) is one of the four big cats in the genus Panthera and a member of the familyFelidae

Tiger

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species, reaching a total body length of up to 3.3 m (11 ft) and weighing up to 306 kg (675 lb).

Jaguar

The jaguar  Panthera onca, is a big cat, a feline in the Panthera genus, and is the only Panthera species found in the Americas.

Farm Cat

Also known as barn cats, are cats kept primarily for the purpose of catching the smaller vermin found on farms and ranches.

Havana Brown

The Havana Brown, also known as the Swiss Mountain cat, is a breed of cat well known and shown in England in the 1890s

Japanese Bobtail

The earliest written evidence of cats in Japan indicates that they arrived from China or Korea at least 1,000 years ago.

Manx

The Manx breed originated on the Isle of Man (hence the name), where they are common. They are called stubbin in the Manx language

Minx

The term is a common error or colloquially used by people unfamiliar with the Manx cat, a tailless breed of cat originating from the Isle of Man, Great Britain

Ocicat

Is a new and still-rare breed of cat which has spots resembling a 'wild' cat and the temperament of a domestic animal, named for its resemblance to the ocelot.

California Spangled Cat

Inspired by the poaching death of a leopard. A domestic cat resembling a small leopard, and that this would emphasize how important it is to preserve the leopard.

Cymric

The name comes from Cymru (pronounced KUM-ree), the indigenous Welsh name of Wales, though the breed is not associated with Wales in any fashion

Devon Rex

The Devon Rex is a relatively new breed of cat with a sparse, curly, very soft coat similar to that of the Cornish Rex.

Don Sphynx

A breed of cat known for its lack of a coat.

Egyptian Mau

The Egyptian Mau is often said to be descended from African wild cats, and a descendant of the cats seen in wall paintings of Ancient Egypt.

Scottish Fold

The original Scottish Fold was a long-haired white-haired barn cat.

Savanna

A domestic hybrid cat breed. It is a cross between a serval and a domestic cat.

Selkirk Rex

The Selkirk Rex originated in Montana, America in 1987, with a litter born to a rescued cat. 

Siamese

The exact origins of the breed are unknown, but it is believed to be from Southeast Asia.

Siberian

While Siberians are a fairly recent introduction to the US(1990) and thus relatively rare, though popular, the breed can be seen in Russian paintings and writings hundreds of years old.

Singapura

The original home of the Singapura is the island of Singapore, with the breed taking its name from the local Malay name for the island — meaning 'Lion City'.

Skookum

The Skookum was developed from crosses between Munckins and LaPerms with the aim of creating a short legged cat with a curly coat

Smoke

Smoke cats will look solid coloured until they move, when the white undercoat becomes apparent.

Snowshoe

A rare breed of cat originating in the United States of America in the 1960s.

Sokoke

A more recently developed natural breed of felid hybrid domestic cats, recognized by two major cat pedigree registry organizations as a formal cat breed.

Somali

The breed appeared spontaneously in the 1950s from Abyssinian breeding programs when a number of Abyssinian kittens were born with bottle-brush tails and long fluffy coats.

Toyger

The Toyger is a breed of cat, the result of breeding domestic shorthaired tabbies.

Turkish Angora

Like all domestic cats, Turkish Angoras descended from the African wildcat. The mountainous regions of Eastern Anatolia isolated cats brought by traders from Egypt

Turkish Van

The Turkish Van is a rare, naturally occurring breed of cat from the Lake Van region of present-day Turkey.

Tortoise Seashell

Describes a coat coloring found almost exclusively in female cats. Also called Torties for short, they combine two colors other than white, either closely mixed or in large patches.

Tonkinese

Tonkinese cats are a recent cross between the Siamese and Burmese cat breeds, although some assert that Tonkinese-like cats have existed since at least the early 1800s.

Tigercat

Also known as the little spotted cat, tigrillo, or tiger cat, is a small spotted felid found in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America.

Stone Cougar

The Stone Cougar is a jungle cat hybrid developed by Mandal Exotic Cats to resemble the American cougar. In addition to the cougar-like color, the body is thick and low to the ground, the tail is thick and the ears are small.

Ragamuffin

The Ragamuffin is one of the newest breeds of domestic cat. It was created in 1994. The exact development of this breed is cloudy and will likely remain a mystery

Ragdoll

Ragdolls were first bred in the 1960’s by Ann Baker, a Persian breeder in California. Some of the original stock consisted of sturdy, free-roaming cats

Peterbalds

Peterbalds have an elegantly slim graceful and muscular build. They have a narrow and long head with a straight profile, almond-shaped eyes, wedge-shaped muzzle, and big set-apart ears. 

Nebelung

is a rare breed of the domestic cat. Nebelungs have long bodies, wide-set green eyes, long and dense fur, and mild dispositions.

Norwegian Forest Cat

The breed is very old, and occurred as a natural adaptation to the cold climate of the region, but it was not regarded as anything other than a standard house-cat until the late 1930s 

Oriental Shorthair

The Siamese cat was imported to Britain from Siam (Thailand) in the later half of the 1800s. According to reports, both pointed and solid colors were imported

is a breed of cat that features a tubular, Siamese-style body (known in the cat fancy as oriental type)

Oriental Bicolour

 is any cat of Oriental type, either longhaired or shorthaired and in any pattern including colourpoint, which has white areas on its coat caused by the white spotting gene.

American Shorthair

The breed is believed to be descended from English cats (the forebears of today's British Shorthairs) brought to North America by early European settlers to protect valuable cargo from mice and rats.

American Longhair

The American Longhair / Maine Coon is a large-sized cat. Its coat is can come in a different variety of colours. Like the breed name suggests, they have long hairs
