Our Story

Geoffrey Hann started Crystal Cleaning in 1988. The first car detail took place on a bitterly cold July morning in Launceston. It was so cold the water froze onto the car as he washed it!

Geoff had one of the first mobile phones in Launceston and began offering a mobile car cleaning service out of a small Suzuki van.

Crystal Cleaning has since expanded into other areas, and now specialises in hand car washing, car detailing, panel repairs as well as carpet and upholstery cleaning. They currently run three high-powered truck mounted carpet cleaning machines.

Add to this the spray bake oven launched over the last few years and it’s clear that Geoff has come a long way since 1988...
