Director  of  iFlourish  (Pty)  Ltd

Carolyn  started  iFlourish  to  make  a  difference  in  South  Africa  by  having  an  impact  in  supporting  and  growing  talent,  so  that  they  can  be  at  their  best  and  can  flourish.

The  approach  of  iFlourish  is  to  identify  where  value  and  support  can  be  provided  to  an  organisation  to  grow  their  talent,  so  it’s  customised  to  meet  your  need.

iFlourish  has  a  key  differentiator  to  other  training  or  coaching  companies  as  it  utilizes  a  Thinking  style  assessment  tool  called  the  Herrmann  Brain  Dominance  Instrument  (HBDI).  The  assessment  findings  are  incorporated  into  coaching  sessions,  which  are  provided  to  ensure  personal  reflection  and  growth.

iFlourish  has  a  mixture  of  clients  i.e.  One  client  is  in  the  FMCG  industry  and  the  focus  is  on  supporting  their  graduates  with  adapting  to  the  corporate  working  environment,  in  addition  the  Line  managers  are  provided  coaching  to  develop  themselves  personally  and  assist  them  with  coaching  their  graduates.    Another  client  is  a  Trading  Business  that  wants  to  take  their  organisation  to  the  next  level  using  HBDI.  This  has  been  done  through  designing  and  facilitating  team  sessions  and  one-on-one  coaching  sessions  with  employee’s.

Associate  for  2Connect  Consulting  company

Carolyn  is  an  associate  for  a  small  consulting  company  called  2Connect.  She  works  on  adhoc  projects  with  them,  key  deliverables  have  been:

•   Employee  Value  Proposition  Project  for  a  Global  Financial  company.  Identifying  what  the  companies  EVP  is  and  proposing  a  journey  plan  on  how  to  grow  the  companies  desired  EVP.

•   Talent  Management  Project  for  a  Global  Financial  company.  Reviewed  their  current  practices  and  processes  and  created  a  framework  for  them  to  implement  going  forward.  Coached  the  Human  resource  teams  to  drive  Talent  sessions.

•   Facilitated  a  Team  Strategy  session  for  an  Insurance  company.  Facilitated  a  virtual  team  coming  together  for  the  first  time  to  build  relationships  and  create  ways  of  working  elements.

•   Designed  and  facilitated  a  Team  session  for  a  Human  Resources  Department  at  a  FMCG  company  to  improve  their  ways  of  working.

Due  to  the  Mondelēz  Transformation  which  began  half  way  through  2014,  Carolyn  focused  on  specific  change  interventions  to  support  the  implementation,  and  developed  and  embedded  the  Mondelēz  Culture  across  the  region.

Identified  and  delivered  Learning  and  Development  initiatives  and  programmes  across  the  region.  Included  in  this  was  arranging  Leadership  programmes  for  the  talent  population  across  the  region.  An  example  of  this  was  rolling  out  one  of  the  Global  Mondelēz  Leadership  core  programmes  called  Leadership  for  Performance  –  where  18  colleagues  from  across  the  EEMEA  region  were  selected  and  invited  to  participate  in  a  9-month  programme.  Carolyn  was  key  in  arranging  the  programme  from  start  to  finish.
