2014 Lottie Moon Christmas OfferingWho is Lottie Moon?
The offering is named for Lottie Moon, a missionary to China for almost 40 years whose letters pleading for mission support still resonate today. Her letters were a major force in the formation of the Woman’s Missionary Union or WMU. She stood barely more than four feet tall and weighed about 50 pounds. She died Christmas Eve, 1912, after living a life of total sacrifice to God and the people of China.
The 2014 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® goal is $175 million; our church goal is $40 thousand.
