1. Trainee Consultant A trainee consultant is by an applicant with 6 months or less experience in recruitment.

To successfully pass probation after 6 months the Trainee would have completed their initial 3 month training manual. This includes;

- A mock PSP presentation to their regional manager explaining benefits of Bundles and PSP’s to a school.- They would need to show service level competency with New School Visits and Service Visits in the

presence of their manager, attendance and understanding of the Simply Education Safeguarding Course.- At least 5 teacher interviews would need to be completed with accurate packs approved by manager.- A week night and weekend on call duty will need to be covered by the Trainee.- They would need to get positive feedback for Simply Education Courses delivered by external trainers

If all of this criteria is met then this will result in the passing of the 6 month appraisal and the Trainee Consultant becoming a Recruitment Consultant

2. Recruitment Consultant

A Consultant is an employee with previous recruitment experience and must meet all the above criteria of the Trainee Recruitment process.

3. Established Consultant

Established Consultant is an employee with a minimum of 1 year service with Simply Education Ltd who meets all the above criteria along with the addendums below.

GP billings of £130K for the previous Academic /Financial year. This will entitle them to receive a 2K bonus in the following April. This has the added attraction of no additional responsibilities will be required within the branch.

4. Senior ConsultantA Branch Manager must give a written proposal to the Regional Manager stating reasons as to why

they are recommending the Consultant for this post.

In this letter of recommendation the Manager must be able to verify that the Consultant has the ability to perform tasks expected of a Senior. As part of the Consultant performance management and personal development a project should be set that adds value to the branch. This must be quantified using: SMART

Specific Target a specific area for improvement. A specific goal will

usually answer the five "W" questions:Measureable Quantify or suggest an indicator of progressAttainable State how the goal can be achievedRealistic Realistic/Relevant goals (when met) drive the team, department, and

organization forward. A goal that supports or is in alignment with other goals would be considered a relevant goal.

Time-bound Stresses the importance of grounding goals within a time frame, giving them a target date.

- Ability to mentor and coach a new starter - Ability to accurately complete Branch and Manager spread sheets ( Min of 5) - Ability to monitor and control the Recruitment, E Applications and Vacancy Page

The personality of the Senior Consultant should reflect a calm demeanour with the confidence, Industry knowledge and ability to conduct team meetings in the absence of the Manager. Conflict resolution and decision making processes need to be thoughtful and in line with the Simply Education ethos and have the best interests of the company at heart. A proven sales and client relations record would be a necessity to have the faith of the team members that are expected to follow them.

In the Managers final submission letter (after 3 months) they must be able to give quantifiable and tangible proof that the above tasks and criteria have been completed for a minimum of 3 months.

Regional Manager will then give the permission to appoint the Consultant with all additional benefits.

5. Trainee Manager & ProgrammeRecommendation's for Trainee Managers need to be put forward by a Regional Manager in a letter to the SD or MD . Should a Manager wish to recommend a Senior for a management role then this must first be discussed with their Regional Manager and then a letter should be composed that they both agree on and submitted to SD or MD

Before a candidate is considered, the BM & RM must be able to identify that candidate have the required skills sets for the role.

Basic Skills required would be:

Understanding & Using of Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word & Outlook)Leadership TraitsOrganisational SkillsA good standard of Oratory, Literary & Numeracy skillsCompany Compliance ,Regulatory compliance & Industry knowledgeMotivational ( self & Team), Decisive, Firm but fair , Tact & CompassionDemonstrate passion for Simply Education along with integrity and trustworthinessAnalytical and target setting skillsCope well under pressureBe creative, take new ideas on-board and implement own ideas

The successful completion of 3 SMART project’s and a report submitted by BM or RM to a director on the results of these projects. The final stages would also entail a face to face interview with your branch’s regional counterpart. Once all of the criteria has been met a Simply Education Director will authorise the promotion and subsequent benefits.

All Simply Education external and internal training that are offered and relevant are mandatory and all need positive feedback from the trainers to be considered for progression on the Simply Education Ltd career path.
